A 513 Epiphany!
I think I may have just had a Queer as Folk epiphany!

We've all thought Brian's line in 513 "It's only time" was a bit odd and evasive and some even thought he was weird for not seeming to give a shit when he next saw Justin.

What are the chances that this is an intentional reference to the lyrics of the Magnetic Fields' song "It's Only Time" which came out in 2004?

If it wasn't an intentional reference, it fucking well should have been! (And I choose to believe it was.)

And if it was, why hasn't anyone said so sooner?!

Either way, this may be the single most perfectly QaF-prescient song ever written. And it's an absolutely beautiful song. Go listen to it. Even better, support Stephin Merritt and go buy it!

The "it's only time" scene is oozing so much love,you have to be blind to NOT see it,and I never thought that it was odd or something for Brian to say those words.He just forgot to say:"until we see each other again" ;D

And OMG,yes!!!!Those lyrics are a precise description of ep. 511-513!!!
Oh wait no,let's include 510 too.

Christ,I do not know this song (or that's what I think lol) but I already can see a B/J vid right in front of me. ;)

	I can't make it look like a break-up even if I try, and I have. There's just no way that that's the case. I didn't know it either.
