I did go to school up until about ninth grade. 'though I did check out...anyway, I remember some things. I'm not a complete idiot like everyone thinks.

You know the radio communication tests? Right, 'course you don't. Anyway, "five-by-five" is what was used to determine the quality of signal in radio communication. Marking it for volume and clarity. When asked how the signal was, they'd answer "five-by-five" as in "the best possible".

So I'ma tell you a little secret, alien sensei. Somethin' no one bothered to take the time to hear. Five-by-five doesn't mean "good" or "well". It means "the best possible." It means. "I'm surviving".

Look, I dunno if I'ma gonna be able to train with you this weekend. ~~I need to reconsider my angle. It's not like you'd miss your fucked up annoying student anyway. Am I even makin' any progress in your eyes, vader?~~

This isn't melodrama. This is what I agreed to do when I offered to guide you through self control. I took you on as something of an apprentice, and I would be failing you if I ignored you when, as you put it, you're just surviving. Saying something like, and trying to get out of training, aren't the words of someone who is 'alright'.

You accepted my help, and I'm following through on what I said I would do.
