Sirius, if something isn't done with that goose soon, it's going to be served as a meal and I'm going to use the feathers to make a pillow.

Why in the name of Merlin's left tit does Sirius have a goose?

He decided to transfigure our chairs and one of them resulted in a goose.

I'd say that that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard, but considering the source of said ridiculousness...it's not even by half.

Why didn't he return the transfiguration?

You should meet the portrait he's charmed. She's quite a spitfire.

... I really don't know. Because it's Sirius?

He charmed a portrait? Considering that he was always trying to get the portraits in Grimmauld to shut up, I find that amusing.

I find that's often the answer when it comes to questions about why he does or doesn't do something.

I'm Tonks, by the way. Well, the grown up one.

He charmed a portrait named Violet. Considering how the two go at it, she either loathes or loves him.

Nice to meet you, so to speak. I'm Benjy Fenwick. (The grown up one.) I'm Sirius roommate, in case you hadn't guessed.

Isn't that always the way with that one?

I'm so sorry for you. You ought to be sainted.

Likely.

I have a few ways of fighting back, loud classical music included. And I hexed him when I got here due to not knowing his innocence.

If it squawks one more time and I hear it, I'll see how riled up I can get it with violin music. Do you really want bird droppings and feathers all over your things?

Learn to love something quieter and more normal. Your goose is going to be made into a goose dinner and feather pillow when I get a hold of it.

The children will be upset. I will be upset. Everyone will be upset.

I'll guard him with my life if I have to! I don't have a job, remember? I can and will spend every waking second saving Mr Fitzwilliam the Third from your ridiculus, love-fuelled rampage.

Hiding behind the children with your goose. That's low.

I don't have a job yet either. I'll... wait, love-fueled rampage? Where did that description come from?

Is he still keeping a goose?

I can transfigure it back if he doesn't.

He is.

While I appreciate it, I could too if I could get a hold of it. There's simply nothing to stop him from transfiguring it back again afterward - or to keep him from going after the new chairs.

Some things are still the same then.

When you're use to duelling it's easy to stop it from moving then change it back. He should know.

Oh, that's not it. He's simply determined to protect it from me. I'm not terribly keen on breaking into his rooms, let alone while children are about.

Since it hasn't starved yet, I can only assume he's feeding it. It seems rather pet-like to me.

Only he would transform a chair into a goose and then go on to take it on as a pet.
