Entry tags:ahsoka tano, anakin skywalker, ickle anakin skywalker, ickle helena wells, mara jade, obi-wan kenobi, padme amidala, siri tachi

Who: SW crew and guests
What: They celebrate the Earth holiday
Where: Padmé and Anakin's rooms
When: Backdated to the morning of December 25th
Warnings: Possibly SW-based language?

She'd gotten up early to head down to the kitchen in order to meet Mara. Together the pair had made a wonderful breakfast that was now spread out across a table in the Skywalker's living space. Pancakes with various fruits, both from Earth and ones most of the people attending would recognize, bacon, sausage and ham, juice, coffee, milk - it was all laid out for people to pick at. In one corner of the room was a tree where presents were already gathered beneath and a fire burned in the fireplace to warm up the room.

The door to the hall is open for people to meander in and out as they like while the triplets are sharing a playpen, awake and watching the events happening.

She’d done her best to keep the physical contact to a minimum at the Christmas celebration. But they were alone, now, and there was no need. He drew her to him and she gladly moved closer, her hands tangling in his hair as she kissed him back, pressing against him.

It still astounded him, how easily she came to him, how comfortable she was touching him. It was how he imagined things on the rare occasion he allowed himself such indulgences, but that was fantasy. He couldn't have pictured what it would feel like if it were real.

He couldn't have pictured her wanting this as much as he did, or wanting him, someone who'd never felt particularly special or accomplished, in the way that he'd wanted her. She was beauty and grace. She was the Jedi who brought down a dangerous smuggling ring almost single-handedly when she was barely more than a Padawan.

She was the Padawan a Master wanted to train.

She'd told him once that he was a disgrace and he'd thought the reason it had hurt so much was because it was true. But that wasn't why.

But he could feel what she felt in his arms. The warmth, the desire, the fondness. He couldn't dispute that it was there, even if he didn't understand why. So he sank into it, instead. Let himself be wrapped in it. He let the kiss break long enough to gasp for breath against her mouth, then sought another one.

He couldn’t have been more wrong; in her mind he was (although she would never admit it, aloud or otherwise) the better Jedi out of the two of them. That mission undercover with Krayn had changed her, made her... eccentric, for a Jedi. For a proper Jedi, anyway. Restless, less inclined to listen wholeheartedly to the Council. At least, less likely to hide it.

Obi-Wan was the best Jedi she knew.

She’d said the words to make him angry; she’d wanted to make him angry, as much as she might have meant them at the time. She had been out to get him, after all. But as he’d told her back on the ship with Talesan... this had always been there. And he was right, of course. It had always been there.

It had always been him.

And when it came to how she felt about him, she never hid what she was feeling. Not from him. In that respect she was as open as she could be. She wanted him, needed him to know how she felt about him. When he sought another kiss she pulled him to her, one hand sliding out of his hair to take a handful of his shirt and draw him with her further into her room as they kissed.
