Who: Siri Tachi and Mara Jade-Skywalker
What: Jedi walking in the gardens
When: Some time after this
Where: the gardens
Rating/Warnings: Low.
Status: incomplete/in-progress

Siri was in the gardens long before the agreed upon meeting time, dressed in jeans and a tunic, her lightsaber hanging from her belt. She had taken to leaving her lightsaber in her room most of the time, but it seemed appropriate to wear it for this meeting. She’d spent some time in the gardens as well, during her more sleepless nights. It wasn’t the lake, but it was still peaceful enough.

It was going to be interesting, getting to know Mara. Learning more about the Order, as Mara knew it. She was curious as to what other skills had been discovered in the time after her death. What all had happened; beyond what she already knew.

[OOC: Aww it's alright! Bad Word for eating your original tag.]

It certainly wasn't an easy process. Dying and then being brought back to life was immensely traumatizing. However, Mara had found having family and friends she cared about around her helped. As did meditation or training.

"Body swap? That sounds rather unsettling to say the least. I do hope those that founds themselves inhabiting the Force sensitive bodies did not cause any distress with the abilities they suddenly found themselves with?" Mara knew Force abilities could be dangerous in the hands of someone untrained in how to use them. But given the castle was still in tact, clearly no one had lost control of their emotions and caused something bad to happen.

Familiar faces did help; particularly Obi-Wan’s. Although she’d done her best to keep the details of her death from him. He’d live through it soon enough when he returned to their world. There was no need for him to know sooner. Patience exercises were never Siri’s strong point, but swimming had become something of a replacement for the more... traditional meditation. And the training with the other Jedi residing in the Land of Make Believe also helped.

“Fortunately they didn’t; I found myself with temporary Padawans for the duration of the switch. It helped that some of them were... dedicated to learning all they could.” She couldn’t help the crooked smile. She’d sworn to never take another Padawan after Ferus had left the Order, but Helena had made an impressive student.

Finding familiar things to hold onto certainly helped in dealing with the trauma. Mara had gotten herself a new student when she'd shown up on Earth. Galen Marek, Vader's former apprentice and recently had forsaken the Dark Side and wanted to embrace the Light Side. Mara taught him about the Light Side, always allowing him the choice of how much he wanted to learn. Watching the struggle of leaving the Dark Side behind was one Mara knew from first hand experience. It wasn't easy, but she had respected Galen immensely for his efforts. She did miss him.

"Being dedicated to learning certainly helps things. It would seem in the midst of that chaos, you were handed a best case scenario. There is certainly something to be said for that." Siri could have easily had a mess on her hands if those who suddenly found themselves with the Force had lost control or not sought how to control the basics of the Force.
