Who: Tracey Davis, Regulus Black
What: Smoke break / prank planning session
When: Wednesday, Sept 19, 2012 - late evening
Where: Tracey's apartment, balcony
Rating/Warnings: PG-13 / Language possible
Status: Closed / Incomplete

A number of pots sat on tall stands on one side of the covered balcony, the one nearest to Tracey holding a currently flowerless Valerian plant. After an incident with a certain black cat knocking one of the pots, they all had charms put on them to keep pests out and keep the dirt inside of the plant. On the furthest end of the balcony was a small square pot that held cat grass. That was where Night was sitting, happily ignoring the two Slytherins sitting on the balcony, smoking.

Tracey tapped her cigarette over an ash tray sitting on the small table sitting between them. "Despite the fact that it was aimed at Severus, not you, I say the tea set ought to result in us calling it even on 'housewarming gifts' for now." She mused aloud after a moment. "So we can fully concentrate on a prank on someone else. And you can give me an address."

While it could've been argued that Eames needed the attention sooner, since Severus had received the lovely tea set gift, but there was a certain detail about that which didn't entirely convince Tracey that would be the wisest route to take. "If we do something to Eames first, I think it may put Severus on alert. Eames already knows that he's going to get attention at some point in the near future, and it's simply a fact. Severus, on the other hand, thinks he just got attention with his periwinkle present."

"I say Severus first, Eames second. Eames can sit and laugh at Severus and his rainbows and not be working to mobilise retaliation against us and then try to get Severus in on it." Tracey didn't know if Severus would try to retaliate, nor how if so, but Eames seemed more the sort to go for elaborate. He had been in on more of the pranks thus far.

"Yes, can't have them combining forces against us."

Having weathered the group efforts of all three of his closest friends, Regulus really didn't fear the dual concerted efforts of Severus and Eames. They never harmed each other, no matter what Regulus claimed polyester did to his 'tender sensibilities'. And truth be told, he would be disappointed if no alliance was formed, if such an opportunity present itself.

"I'm sure Severus will be delighted at the amount of joy and cheer he brings to every room now."

"Severus first, then." Tracey agreed with a smirk, nodding at the mention of Severus' unavoidable delight. It was almost as fun as imagining Severus as a furry little marsupial. "I'm not sure if I want to be invited over for tea that day, just for the pure sake of seeing how delighted he'll be, or if I'd rather stay hidden and well away from all of the joy and merriment. I'm not sure how well I could take that much excitement, given the usual humdrum of things."

"So, how have things been? Raising teenagers, work, purchasing a house... Sounds almost routine."
