I was digging through the "fun" holidays for March when my brain decided it was time to step back and think too hard.

Or maybe not enough.

It's kind of crazy where your mind goes, though, at these weird hours of the night or morning.

I was thinking back to when we, the Young Avengers, started settling into our new space. The only good thing Dad ever left me was the old publishing factory. Even then, we just kind of took it over for our own.

I also thought back to when I first met Eli, Billy, and Teddy. Trying to be heroes when my sister's wedding was being robbed. I saved their sorry asses then and I'd probably still be doing it now.

Also, television is crap past 2 AM. Not even the infomercials are entertaining.

I need some range time. You in?

Is the sky blue?

I mean, right now it's sort of blackish but still.

I always thought it was more of a really dark blue. Dark navy blue. Maybe even a really dark purple.

Tomorrow not morning? I'll bring coffee.

Hey, saying stuff like that might make the sky actually turn purple one of these days.

Well if coffee's involved, I'm there.

You know there's already been purple skies and stuff, right? I mean, it depends on the time of day. It happens.

Especially if it's free coffee.

I mean, yea. But I'm talking about royal purple all the time.

And duh.

It was a tough trip home, Bucky.

A really tough trip. I haven't really talked to anyone in detail about it. Maybe a bit with Peter

There have been too many things I've wanted to buy off of those commercials.

We need one of those As Seen on TV stores around here, or at least a section in a store with them.

Crappy tv does not help at all when your mind is on overdrive with thoughts.

[info]kateaccompli

It really doesn't. It just gives you more time to think.

Which very rarely ever ends anywhere good. It's like 2am hits and all the channels decide no one is awake so crap has to go on.

They should come up with the insomnia channel. Just have movies or tv shows on it all day long so the ones who can't sleep have something to watch.

I guess that's what Netflix and YouTube are for, but even they lose their luster after a while.

Depending on what you pick on Netflix, you'll be up for sure all night since if you pick a tv series, then you're just going to want to keep going. Where with a tv channel, you might actually fall asleep before the thoughts get out of hand, keeping you up. Or at least I'm one for falling asleep with the tv on.

Also totally spaced it, my bad, but that's horrible how your sister's wedding had someone trying to rob it.

You know what else would work? A music channel that actually played music. Something tells me if I venture into the higher channels, I might find something.

Oh, don't worry about that. I consider it her dose of karma.

I know back home we had it, but it was on the higher channels. They might have it here and it's just straight music with no ads. Even have different types like hits, rap, country, and so on to fit all the needs of people.

Not a great person?

I found them.

They have a channel called Gregorian Chanting and Chamber music. Sounds like a great Tuesday night.

She wasn't horrible, but she wasn't great either.

What the heck is that type of chanting? I may need to look that look up since I've never heard anything like that.

I got lucky with my sister, I couldn't imagine not having her in my life. I'd be dead without her.

Don't worry. I'm not the kind of person who challenges people to some kind of duel to prove how good I am.

That's cool, though! There are a lot of archer-type people here. Which is weird. Not weird in a bad way. Weird in that "whoever thought archery was that popular" way.

Well, in my world, guns don't seem to work that well, so if you want long-distance weapons, bows are the way to go.

Guns are lame. I know people who use them but they're really good at it. They're definitely not my cup of tea, though.

Bows, knives - that's a new one! - and fencing swords. And, when in doubt, a good right hook.
