Going to his dad's (Luke, Mathilda and Anakin)
Who: Luke, Mathilda and Anakin
What: Father-son stuff, meeting Artoo...although Artoo may not remember,..and meeting Mathilda
When: July 2
Where: Anakin's house
Warnings: Not much

Luke was looking forward very much to this trip to his dad's house. He kept wondering...would Artoo know him? Whose time was he from? It would be a little hard if he was from Luke's time, actually...it'd be hard to figure out who should keep him.

Plus, there was Mathilda. It was still hard to think of his dad helping a child like this, but he was glad for it. A little sad at times, wishing he'd had some of that when he was a boy, but hoping it would help his dad for the better. Anakin had seemed good with the child Leia a short time back, so hopefully this would go well also.

Luke was back in his robes, still favoring them when he wasn't working. The summer heat was a little uncomfortable, but he was used to it by now, given how many climates he'd experienced back home. He did get some looks because of it, but he had never let it bother him much.

He knocked on the door, waiting, anxious, but still fairly calm on the surface.

	Mathilda opened the door. She was excited to meet Luke, because he was older than Anakin. It was strange! Also, he was kind of a foster brother to her. She was happy he got to meet R2, as well, because she was loving him. The door swung open and Mathilda stepped out of the way. "Luke, right? Come in!" (Reply to this) (Thread)

Anakin was rather calm about the whole thing, but that was possibly because he wasn't the one meeting two new beings that day. He heard the knock on the door, and smiled slightly when Mathilda decided she was the one to open it. There was a series of beeps from R2D2 as the door opened, and Anakin glanced the droid's way.

"Hello, Luke."

R2D2 bumped lightly into Anakin, beeping once more. "Ow, Artoo. I know Luke's here. I can see him."

	Luke smiled at both of them. "Yeah, I'm Luke." he replied. "It's good to meet you...Mathilda, right?" "Hi" he said to Anakin, chuckling a little as R2 bumped Anakin. "Artoo...do you remember me? 	"Droids can stay around for a while, if they're well taken care of. Even sometimes if they're not. Hey! Artoo, stop it, go talk to Luke if you're so excited about him." And with that, R2D2 made his way toward Luke. Then let out a series of beeps. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"It's good to meet you. You know, I know someone whose first name is Lando. Your name's pretty, though. How are you...doing all right?"

Luke nodded. "Yeah, quite a while." Luke patted Artoo's dome, happy to see him. "Looks like he does recognize me." he said. "That's good. You know, sometime we three should talk more...I'd love to hear about Artoo's adventures with you. And I've got a few stories of my own."

	Mathilda climbed up on the couch and responded to Luke, "I'm doing okay. Better now that Anakin took me in. The fosters they gave me were from here and they didn't understand. 	"Luke's stories are way cooler than mine," Anakin said with a laugh. "My stories mainly consist of trying to give Obi-Wan a heart attack." R2D2 beeped at the name Obi-Wan. "I didn't do it on purpose, Artoo." He looked toward Mathilda for a moment, "He's a Jedi, too. I think Obi-Wan trained him a little bit." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Well, there was the time Artoo and I crashed in a swamp...we were both a mess for a while." Luke laughed. "I think it was mostly Yoda having heart attacks in my case though." Like running off to Bespin despite knowing he probably couldn't defeat Vader. "But yeah, Obi-Wan trained me, too. They both did."

"That's right, Artoo did know Obi-Wan...that's who he was trying to reach when I found him. Strange, though...Obi-Wan didn't seem to remember him very well at first."

"Master Yoda is a Jedi as well. He very well may show up. And have some words for me." It seemed like everyone would have some words for Anakin. Everyone who knew what happened in Anakin's future, anyway.

"He looks... different than Luke and I do, though. Small and green. I'm not sure he approved of my training to be a Jedi, but Qui-Gon said he'd take me on as an apprentice. After Qui-Gon died, Obi-Wan took me on."

Luke felt a bit of sadness as he thought of what must have happened to bring it to an end, but for now, he tried to push it away. And Luke agreed about the having words part. That would be the one problem with Leia showing up. She'd have plenty of words.

"Sometimes he talked funny, too. He'd say the first part of the sentence last. " Luke said. "And he could...it would be nice." he said. "Although I'd think twice about trying that stew of his. Or the approximation with Earth ingredients. Took some getting used to..." he chuckled.

	"Small and green? Like an alien?" She stopped and thought for a second. "You're all aliens, really. So nevermind. I'll let you two talk... I'm going to go for a walk."
