Fiona had located a pleasant little art supply shop in town and had purchased heavy watercolor paper and an array of paints and brushes. She could have merely summoned the supplies she required but she'd wanted to explore a little. She'd pulled her red hair up into a ponytail and twisted that into a messy bun secured with thin needle like pins. Despite the era, however, she'd dressed in a high collared peacoat over her long dress. She hadn't decided on what fashions to dress in just yet and was comfortable this way for now.
She found the end of one of the main streets and set her bag down just off the sidewalk. She used the Pattern to bring her a stool, an easel and a rug. She laid the rug down after she used the Pattern to send the snow away and set up the stool and easel atop it. Fiona paid no mind to anyone around her, she had more important things to do. With a light hand she dragged the pencil over the paper, quartering it in light grey lines. The pencil waa tucked behind her ear as she set up her pallet, sorted out what paint she wanted then got to work.
She began painting the scene before her, the road with it's bare trees and store fronts. She took her time to get the details right from the exact spot she was sitting in. For those sensitive to magic, she was gently and deftly weaving threads of it into each brush stroke. The only thing she left out were the cars, there was simply no need for them. After feeling eyes upon her for more than a few moments, she looked over her shoulder, brushed poised above the page. Her voice honey sweet, " Can I help you?" One brow arched upwards for emphasis.
