It's complicated. I'd attempt some sort of explanation, but you're obviously pissed the hell off and traumatized, and you wouldn't really listen if I tried.

Also don't blame you for not listening to anybody, but Clove is here and will probably handle your shit better than the rest of us, so I'd sit tight until she answers this. If you want to hole up somewhere, that's fine, just don't shoot anyone with anything.

Your other option is being shot full of tranqs until you calm down, but I'm guessing that isn't what you're going to choose because it leaves you vulnerable. So sit tight.

It's not a judgement, so calm your tits, it's a prediction on your brain doing its thing so you live. And no, I don't think you're a wimp, I think you're a pissed off, dangerous teenager who based on his circumstances has a perfectly valid reason to be that way, but is still capable of making things here nasty, which I would prefer to avoid.

And you're not going to be disqualified. Shaun and I are from a society whose scientific advancement approaches that of your Capitol, and our removal has been seamless enough not to have been noticed in any appreciable way. So your Capitol is unlikely to notice your departure.

Look at it this way, you have two options: You can kill people or not kill people. And there's two things we all could be doing: We could be lying or telling the truth. If you kill people and we're lying, you're probably golden because you're hallucinating. If you kill people and we're telling the truth, then you fuck yourself over. If you don't kill anyone and we're lying, you're fucked. If you don't kill anyone and we're telling the truth, you're golden. Looks like even odds, but you're obviously capable of defending yourself, so if you hold off and find out if we're lying, you can up your 'not being fucked' odds from 50 to 100 percent.
