Rachel likes snow, but hates when it ends up melting into her mittens.

However, she fell in love with apple cider pacifiers. Yes, I did buy quite a lot of them before we left the ice planet.

I would say that mine and Phil's first long trip with our daughter was a successful one.

I'm sure she'll have many successful trips, chere.

I hope so. She enjoyed playing with the snow until it started melting in her hands.

I know so, chere. She has amazing parents and there will be more trips, I'm sure, to other places.

When she's older we should get kinetic sand, I believe it's called.

Knowing Madison, we probably will.

Oh, I think she would love that when she gets older.

I'm sure we can find other things for her as she gets older. How did you and Phil like the trip, chere?

She's going to end up having so much stuff, I think.

We had a great time -- both together and when we went to do things on our own.

How did you like the trip?

She is. She's going to get spoiled and we both know it, chere.

It was a good trip. Not overly fond of being in space but the planets were nice.

That's a great age. I remember my best friend's daughter at that age, she was a little character already.

I'm glad this trip with her worked out for you. I remember my first big trip with Sarah...it did not end well and we had to turn around and go home on our third day out.

Thank you. It was definitely an adventure.

Oh no. That sounds unfortunate. What happened?

Well I probably doomed it from the start by deciding to go on my own with her. She was 3 and I was going to take her to see where our family was from. We got as far as Ciudad Acuna and stayed there a whole day before I decided to just go back to Austin.
