To Isaac, the best part of the Halloween season was the candy. Free or not - more not since he was too old to trick-or-treat, it could be found in so many places, and he was simply addicted to the little bars of chocolate. It didn't hurt that he was a werewolf with an incredible appetite, of course. Right now, it was all full price, and it was a little more expensive here at Walgreens than it would be at Walmart. That was okay. He didn't mind. He had the money and they had just as good of selection here with fewer kids around crying because their parents wouldn't buy them what they wanted.

Instead of a cart, he had a little red hand-held basket that he was quickly filling up with different kinds of candy. It wasn't all chocolate, in fact it also held Nerds and Haribo gummies, and one of the big bags with the sweet-tarts and similar treats. This was going to cost him so much but it was also so worth it.

Especially when he showed it to Jill and they both ate ridiculous amounts of it.

He'd gotten down to the point now that he could only get one more bag, and he had a hard decision to make. Did he want the Reese's Pumpkins (he already had Reese's Cups), or did he want the zombie colored Kit-Kat bars. It was a hard decision, as he held each bag in front of it, weighing the advantage of each.

Martha was at Walgreens to buy a few necessities and pick up a prescription, but she had headed down the aisle of candy to see the sort of selection they had. Part of her had been kind of hoping for some strange other-planetary candies, but it seemed it was the same ol' American standards. She missed some of the more familiar UK treats, but she'd gotten used to it here in Madison after being here for so long.

She noticed the boy with his basket and had to smile. "I can't decide if I should be jealous or should scold you as a doctor for your sugar intake."

	Isaac looked back at the young woman, matching her smile. Yeah, if he were human, then what he was eating would definitely be a problem. At least for his teeth if not everything else. "I don't personally, but I've treated enough werewolves here to know I'm jealous." She grinned, her London accent thick as she spoke. "I guess I can't lecture you on healthy eatin' then, but now I'm wondering how your teeth are. Does being a werewolf mean all those things we humans need to remember are things you don't have to, or just less than?" Martha certainly hoped werewolves brushed their teeth.

"My human teeth or my werewolf teeth?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. "Because they're definitely different. And I mean, yes, I brush my teeth just like a normal person, although if there were any infections or anything, my werewolf healing would sort that out."

Another reason it was totally awesome being a werewolf. It seemed like he kept finding amazing new reasons every day.

	"Well, they also transform into fangs when I change, so they're part of the whole 'werewolf' thing." He shrugged. He really didn't know how it worked; he just considered it werewolf magic and accepted it for what it was. "It's definitely one of the advantages. Awesome health and healing." Martha had been around enough people who weren't human to know that with perks also came downsides, but she wasn't about to ask the guy to list things that sucked. Instead, she nodded at him. It must definitely be nice to have those things.

"Well then, I hope I don't see you in the clinic." She smiled, her eyes shining a little in the mostly-joking attitude she had.

"Speaking of, I should make sure I get when I need before I start my night shift. You make sure you enjoy that candy for me, okay?" She winked, not really meaning it, but also kind of meaning it at the same time. "It was nice to meet you."

She gave him another nod, then continued down the aisle
