Lisa & Dean's Wedding

September 2nd | Musain | PG-13

The ceremony was simple, but beautiful and Lisa and Dean said their "I Dos" in front of all of their family and friends. Afterwards, the pair held their reception and left it open to everyone in town. There was plenty of good food, music, and dancing too. JOIN IN.

“I didn’t consider that Charlie would be anything other than a little angel. DJ I imagined hiding somewhere with the rings in his pocket and the whole wedding stopping because they were missing.” It would have been a little funny, but he was glad it hadn’t happened and that things had gone off without a hitch.

Back in college, before they started dating, Jess had told Sam that he looked like he needed WD-40 when he was on the dance floor. It certainly hadn’t bolstered his confidence, but when he had the time and occasion he practiced a little. Loosened up a little more. Learned how to pull off a few spins and twirls and dips. Not professionally, mind you, but enough so that he didn’t look so awkward while he was dancing. And he smiled when Chloe’s hand never left his, and he didn’t spin her out into the room like a top. He pulled her back to his chest for a moment and dropped a kiss on her neck before they resumed their normal dance. “Mrs. Future Winchester,” he gasped, his cheeks turning a little pink when she grabbed his ass. “If I weren’t brother of the groom and hadn’t done horrible things to his car that I want to see his reaction to, I’d urge you to cut out early with me.”

Honestly, Sam hadn’t thought too much about the location of their wedding. Maybe once when he was young, like high school young, he may have cared about that. But now, as long as Chloe became his wife, he didn’t care where they said ‘I do’. He wanted her to have everything she wanted though. “I’ve never even thought about the weather being different in space. I haven’t really thought about it at all, but if it’s really different, may we can have a snow machine brought in,” he teased. “Or maybe we can get married on a beach with white sand.” He looked down at her. “So January is a month you’re looking at?”

"That's okay. It's important for you to stay through the night," Chloe assured him with a smile. "I'm sure that DJ will be so tired when we get home that we'll have plenty of time to enjoy some quality adult time." She moved closer to kiss him, her lips brushing against his.

"Not necessarily. It was just the first thought that popped into my head. I mean, I think our event will be fairly small." As she turned in Sam's arms, she caught sight of Lucifer and was surprised to see him there, but she said nothing.

"I probably have only about ten to fifteen guests I can think about inviting. You?"

“Sam might be too tired too,” he teased, returning her kiss and deepening it. “You might have to do all the work.” Yeah, like he would really be too tired when an offer that promised what he was sure it did was on the table. He was enjoying his life too, and glad that he and Dean both got to have this kind of thing while they were together. It never seemed to happen that way before.

“I’m thinking a handful,” he counted off some people in his head. “With the plus ones and their kids, maybe the same. There might be a few that I’m debating on inviting, but still relatively the same.” Sam wasn’t even sure whether they would even come or not. Friends at one point in time didn’t mean that they had to stay in your life forever. “January would be fine with me, for the record. Or we could do it next week. I’m very easy to please.”

"I don't mind doing the work. It's a very lovely view from up top." Chloe thought it over, unsure about what she wanted to do. "I think Dean said he hopes to have his place up and running by January, and I think we should have it there."

The song ended and Chloe walked with Sam back to their table, in need of a drink. "Maybe March? I'm not sure why I picked that month, but it sounds good to me."

Sam laughed. “The view from below is pretty damn nice too.” He wondered if Chloe was going to invite Lucifer to their wedding. She could invite whoever she liked, he was considering inviting Shosanna, and even though they weren’t exactly ex’s (so complicated) she was a friend and mother to his daughter. “Dean’s place might be nice for something like that. You thinking have the whole thing there or just the reception?” They both had a convoluted and long history with all sorts of religious figures, and really, he didn’t need anything spiritual in their ceremony unless Chloe chose it.

He took her hand as they walked back to their table. “March is good. There aren’t any holidays or birthdays, I don’t think, that we’ll have to schedule around.” He had to think and check calendars. The older he got, the worse his memory was.Sam tipped Chloe’s face up to his and he kissed her, and then held out her chair for her to sit down. “You want something from the bar?”

"Look at you. Trying to be respectful and considerate of others." Chloe smiled and reached for his hand to give it a squeeze. "I didn't even think about that stuff, but I guess March sounds like a winner to me."

She moved to take her seat and reached up to caress his jaw, smiling happily as she gazed upward. "A glass of white wine would be good, thank you, handsome." She reached out to swat his ass playfully before he walked off and then took out her phone to look at the weekends in March.
