Henry was almost completely healed now, and Clem was beyond thrilled about that. After all, the little guy really was her best friend. The biggest thing Clem got from her dad was her tendency to like animals better than she liked most people. Allison was one of those rare exceptions, so Clem was very excited for their evening together. She had worked extra hard to get her lessons finished early, so that she could take Henry for a nice long walk before their arranged time to meet. Clem wanted to make sure that all of her attention was on Allison, after all. Once they were back from their walk, Clem rushed up the stairs to take a nice long shower. This was another reason she had worked so hard to finish early; she wanted to make sure she was good and clean after her playtime with Henry at the park. The shower felt amazing, and the entire time she was in there Henry was laying on the bathroom rug waiting for her. So, that when she finally did step out of the shower he hopped up and looked up at her, almost as if he was making sure she was okay. "I am alright boy" she said, before stepping around him to make her way into their bedroom. "Just wanted to make sure I was nice and clean" she added, still talking to him like he could understand her. It was something that she did often, and she wasn't about to hide it either. Finally, dressed in the cutest pair of pink bunny pajamas she owned she made her way downstairs to wait on Allison to arrive. She curled up on the couch, and even allowed Henry to jump up there with her and lay beside her until Allison arrived. She loved the feeling of cuddling up to him and showing him all the love and affection, she could. After all, he saved her life on a daily basis, and he was one of the few beings in the world she counted on to always be there for her. |
