This has always been a hard time of year for me....but being here without my family team is making it even harder. Any suggestions on distractions?

Oh yes. And since you're familiar with it, there are meetings if you ever want to go.

Pretty sure the shelter does a Thanksgiving dinner for the homeless, people who don't have anyone to celebrate with or can't afford it.

Sophie's your girlfriend? Is she here?

The meetings I go to are at the Catholic church on Wednesdays and Fridays. Start around 8pm. Decent coffee and donuts.

It depends on the type of distraction you are looking for. Despite this being a small town, there is no shortage of vices to get lost in if that is your goal.
