Thank you! Thank you! Thank you, Snupin Santa!
I want to extend my sincere thank you to westernredcedar and all her talented elves for taking on Snupin Santa this year and making it such a wonderful experience for all of the participants and readers/viewers. Your hard work is very much appreciated! The boys really enjoy this special time of year... ;D
“Severus, take a look at these.”
Severus, who’d heard the sound of reams of paper being spit out of their printer and had all ready prepared his complaint if Remus were to hand him some nonsense when he was trying to read something worthwhile, frowned and aimed a well-honed glance of annoyance at his lover.
“Whatever this is, it can wait. I’m in the middle of the latest issue of Modern Potions and would really rather not be disturbed until I finish it, if you don’t mind.”
Remus just smiled and shook the papers in his face. “But Snupin Santa has posted! I know how you love it every year.”
The journal was summarily dropped over the side of the bed as Severus hastily snatched the proffered pages and began to flip through them.
“Why didn’t you say so? What are we up to this year? Anything good?”
“It’s all good, Sev," Remus said as he settled back against the pillows and smiled fondly at his suddenly eager lover.
“Yes, of course it is, but well... Okay, anything pornographic?”
Remus chuckled lightly and glanced down at the listed ratings on the pages in his hands. “...a few things.”
“Ooooh, look at all those stars,” said Severus.
Remus nodded his agreement. “It’s a veritable galaxy. So where shall we start?”
“Where do you think?” Severus smirked knowingly. “With the ones that have the highest ratings and the most stars...”
“I’m not sure how much the stars matter. Not everyone leaves stars with their reviews.”
“Okay, forget the stars, which ones have the highest ratings? They are all rated, right?”
Remus ignored him as he continued to leaf through the papers in his hands. “I always find it so hard to choose. I like the humorous ones... and the touching ones... and the intricately plotted ones... and... oh, this one’s an AU. It’s so much fun to imagine us living different lives and doing different things, isn’t it?”
“I’m quite satisfied with the things we’re usually doing, particularly in the higher rated stories. Are there any pictures with high ratings??” Severus shuffled through his stack of printouts and turned to look at those Remus still held.
“Voyeur... looking for pointers?” Remus grinned.
“Are you suggesting I need any?” Severus stopped what he was doing and raised an eyebrow.
“Of course, not.”
“Good because you certainly seemed to enjoy what I was doing to you last night.” Severus smirked. “Still, I will admit that the endlessly inventive stories these fanfic authors come up with do add a bit of zest to our lives.”
“They do at that,” smiled Remus as Severus settled back against him.
“Thank heavens for Snupin Santa and her elves and all their hard work!”
“It wouldn’t be the holidays without them!”
