Snupin at DiaCon Alley!

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Summer is fast approaching, so it's time to officially announce that there will be a Snape/Lupin meet-up at DiaCon Alley! Everything is being organized through [info]diacon_snupin, so be sure to join and watch the comm in order to keep up with announcements.

Since we're getting a jump on this and there's plenty of time to plan, I'd like to put together a meet-up that celebrates our pairing in style! If you've seen some of the meet-ups that have been held by fans of other big pairings, you know what I'm talking about. But Snupin is just as impressive and organized as any of the others (if not more so), and there's no reason we can't have a totally kickass get-together of our own. Right?!

There are loads of ways in which you can help make it happen. Even if you're not attending the con, you can contribute and make the event special for your fellow shippers!

We need lots of great stuff for swag bags and prizes. Artists and authors, we'd love it if you'd donate some art and fic. Or as a raffle or game prize, you could offer to create a piece of art or a fic specifically for the winnter. Creative projects (bookmarks, stickers, keychains, postcards, etc.) are fantastic; use your own art, or the art of a friend (with their permission, of course!). Customized items (pencils, pens, M&Ms, buttons, and such) make great swag. Anything edible (Remus' chocolate, anyone?) is always a hit. General HP-themed items are great too; they need not be strictly Snape/Lupin.

Anyone who's interested in helping out in this way can drop me an email at rgrayjoy@gmail.com. Or you can comment to this post with your own contact info.

Once again, if you're going to DiaCon Alley, do remember to watch [info]diacon_snupin. There will be polls for you to give you input about times, places, and activities, and all the important announcements and information will be posted there. Don't miss out on anything fun!
