The Lupin/Snape Lurve Community

I have a little question that is bothering me. It concerns fandom Severus's words that he uses to address Remus. I thought I remember reading, in various fics, that while Remus is in human form Severus will call him "Wolf" sometimes. But I just got a note from one of my betas on one of my stories, that says Severus usually calls him "Werewolf" in human form, but "Wolf" in animal form.

What is the standard acceptable term that most writers use when Severus addresses Remus? I know it's fanfiction and pretty much anything goes, but what do you use?
