The Lupin/Snape Lurve Community

snark_n_bark is looking for a few people interested in role-playing canon characters in a long-standing game. The game is post-war and canon-compliant only through OotP (as that's when the game started), although a few rare elements from the next books are sometimes mentioned. It is a Snape/Lupin-centric game, but there are lots of other canon characters ripe for the playing.

I'm going to skip the long history of the game for now, and just say that if you decide to play with us, you can bring in your character as a new person in the game. Whatever has gone on before can be forgotten (almost all canon characters haven't been actively played or mentioned in the game for years). We would much rather have some fun, creative people to play with!

We're not in the middle of any game-wide plots right now, although we are thinking of starting some, so now is a great time to join in! Players with a good chance of being accepted will have a moderate amount of time to play (the game is not fast-paced or pressure-filled), the ability to write clearly in the third person, and a mature attitude toward game play and other players -- or the willingness to learn the last two points.

Active characters include: Remus, Severus, Harry, Hermione, Ron, Oliver, Regulus, Minerva, Neville, Luna, and Zachariah Smith. There is only one character that would take major convincing for us to let you play him, and we'll address that if there's any interest. All other major canon characters are open. Minor characters with absolutely no characterization in the books will not be considered.
