Snape rolled his eyes. Granger was such a ridiculous little know-it-all, even her friends looked bored.

"Come on, Hermione. Next thing you're going to say he had 'that time of the month,'" said Ginny Weasley. "He's male!"

"Professor Lupin's detentions were harsher before the full moon," came the quick reply. "Not that I had first-hand knowledge, but - "

The other girls burst out laughing. Granger scowled and stomped off after Potter.

Snape smiled thinly. It was past time that Granger learned that being right wasn't quite enough.
