He was finished with envy. Envying the normal. He'd spent too many years uncomfortable in his own skin; both of them, he amended wryly. He was a gay werewolf. Today, he'd stopped blaming his lack of satisfaction on his lycanthropy. Thick Gryffindor that he was, he'd never realized that the two people he'd found sexiest in the world were Sirius Black and Severus Snape. It had been his biggest clue.

Remus checked over his tatty trunk once more. It was time to go catch the train, for what he'd hoped would be the first of many years teaching at Hogwarts.
