Remus groaned. This was an all time low, worst moon change in history. Fuck! It was freezing; he’d never awaken in a temperature-controlled fridge before. He fingered the sheet that covered him. Sheet? The hard cot he lay on, the cold, the smell of death, it could only be one thing, a morgue. He pushed himself up onto one elbow. Memories. The battle of Hogwarts, he and Tonks had both hit the floor. He had remained essentially in tact, so apparently Harry had been victorious. Struggling further upright, it was time to give the St. Mungo’s staff a spectacular fright.
