New faces in familiar places
A black portal opens in the middle of the cafe and a moment later a stern faced, obviously annoyed looking young blond stomps out and heads to the bar. Clutched in the blond's fist in a death grip could barely be made out to be a girly type trash magazine.

"I'll kill him. And I mean it this time!" The blond muttered to herself. "He got away with this crap when it was distant dimensions but now... ON MY OWN DOORSTEP!"

The woman pauses long enough to glance up and acknowledge the bartender.

"Something really strong that I probably shouldn't be drinking." She says to them and goes back a moment later to muttering to herself.

"I really liked that body too. It was cute and more than a few times I was told it was perky!"

"PERKY!" She nearly yells and then looks up apologetically to the bartender. "Sorry. I'm upset." A moment later she asks. "Tell me, do you think this body is perky?"

	"What's not perky about it?" Oh look, now Susan had a goddess sitting near her at the bar. Silence had an arched eyebrow and was sipping a neon pink drink with a lime green umbrella in it. "What's with the new look?" (Reply to this) (Thread)

"Hey Sil." Susan said with little enthusiasm.

"You mean you haven't seen yet?" Susan tosses her the magazine she had been clutching.

"13 got a new distributor. HERE. Everyone in Serenity Hills is too nice to say anything but as soon as I stepped out of the community I've been asked a dozen times or so how much I charge for..." Susan's face redden with embarrassment and anger. "Certain sexual activities."

"13 took my face and photoshopped me onto some porn star's body."

Susan snarled/sobbed. "I couldn't literally show my face outside any more so I changed."

Sil's eyes widened for a brief moment before her gaze darkened as she looked at the magazine. 13 was already on her list of people she wanted dead, and while the list was long and contained everything from vicious criminals to talk show hosts, 13 was always in the top three range.

"Do you want me to kill him?" Not that she could follow through on that. But the idea of it was good and maybe she could convince Weirdbard into letting it happen. "Of course I could do something else.." She trailed off, not quite willing to reveal her other idea in case Susan wasn't in need of it.

	"I just wish I could make 13 feel the shame and embarrassment he has put me through but as you know, you can't shame 13." Susan sighs and then a look that could only be called evil came across her face. For a moment the goddess was torn between offering suggestions or laughing. She burst out laughing, showing that yes, laughter had won this round. If she were mortal she'd have trouble breathing, but thankfully that little trade off wasn't an issue.

"Oh, that's brilliant, sweetie. And I would love to oblige you.. but we can't let the children see that freak show. The world corrupts them enough as it is." She took a sip of her drink before speaking again. "And this may not be shame and embarrassment.. but.. we can always serve him up Daddy Dearest to play with." Sure, her father was pretty much an embodiment of evil and negative things.. or perhaps a parasite of them, but if anyone could find a weakness it would be him. But for Sil to seriously suggest that option just went to show how much she truly loathed the little fucker now.

"If we could only find out how 13 was turned to stone that one time we could do that again and make him a statue for pigeons to relieve themselves on, or maybe a fire hydrant! Course the way 13 is, he probably think dogs hiking their leg on him was exciting."

Susan sighs. "Oh well. I guess my old body was a bit too daring. I mean even taking 13 out of the consideration I was always having guys hit on me. What do you think Sil? Is this a better look for me than my old one? I mean I want to look good but not like a total slut."

"No one ever found out how he was stoned?" Sil frowned at that. Really, what were the people she was paying doing over there? It was their job to figure out what the hell was going on in that gated community. Otherwise, why was she bothering to hire them? "Maybe we can have Washu recreate it. She did tests on him I think."

Silence gave Susan's new look a serious once over before resting her chin on her hand. "Honestly? I think I like this one better. You aren't overly in anyone's face with the hotness and can even downplay it if you wanted to, or even give a little more oomph in hot if needed." Sil could appreciate the desire and need for a new look. After all she'd done it a few times as well in her life, even for one time moments such as Halloween. "And you'd look great as a brunette as well as the blonde look you have now."

"Yeah? Thanks!"

Susan pulls a strand of hair out where she see it.

"I was hoping for ginger this time but its not easy for a imp to change their appearance. Its kind of hit or miss. You have to get an image in mind and really hold onto it and concentrate. Slightest distraction and you might find yourself locked into something you weren't expecting. Like me and being blond again. I was so trying for ginger but while concentrating I happened to glance over at that magazine and had the thought at least 13 picked a picture where I was having a good hair and wham! No ginger again and back to blond."

"I could try again but it is such a strain on a imp's body to do a human form and once you 'lock' in on one its almost painful to change it."

"Oh and as for 13's stone problem? I never found out how they changed him back. Just one day he came home to Serenity Hills and when I asked he would only say he was never going back to Darkplace hospital again and that was it."

Ginger? Susan had wanted to be ginger? Had she been hanging around listening to a drunk Doctor? She picked the umbrella out of her glass and twirled it between her fingers. "You can always go the ginger route with dye. You could probably pull it off."

The comment about how painful it was for Susan to change once again annoyed Sil. It made her want to just hack 13's head off with a rusty spoon. It seemed everything 13 did now was all just to cause others pain in every form possible.

Darkplace? She'd heard a few mutterings about a Darkplace, but hadn't been personally. She made a mental note to pay it a visit for information in the future. "No other clues? Hmmm..."

"Yeah. When we found 13 turned to stone in his house, one of the doctors from Darkplace had just recently moved into the neighborhood so someone called him. He took custody of 13's care right before Washu had shown up and the two argued about it for a while. Finally the doctor took 13 back to Darkplace hospital. It exists in one of the stranger splinter dimensions."

Susan takes a sip of her drink.

"I wanted to visit 13 at the hospital but then there was the whole, you had done it and we all thought maybe there was a clue in the storage area 13 uses for his.." Susan grimaced. "Stuff. So we went in and..." Susan looks a bit nauseous.

"In any case we didn't find anything and by the time we found our way out, 13 showed up a day later back to his usual obnoxious self. You might check with Washu? I heard she consulted with the doctor for 13's care."

If only they'd left the imp there or smashed him with a sledge hammer, Sil thought to herself. The world really would be a better place.

After finishing her drink and signaling for another, yes she was making the staff work for their pay, Sil 'hmmed' softly. "I'll check in with her later but I bet she won't even be there." Washu rarely made an appearance these days. She'd be worried but Washu was fully capable of taking care of herself. "I still say I just call Daddy Dearest and let him deal with 13."
