After reading about the existence of a werewolf in time -- on her street, no less -- Nikita decided to take matters into her own hands. Paranoid? Maybe. But she saw it as being prepared. The agent in her refused to let herself or anyone she cared about become a victim. She was more than capable of dispatching with a human threat, but these supernatural ones were something else.

As far as she knew, there were werewolves and vampires, both of which could be deadly. Despite the fact that they were apparently mingling peacefully with the town, there was always the chance that things could go sour. So Niki took herself to the library in the hopes that she could find some books on how to both defend herself and her property from any possible threats, and to kill them should it become necessary. It was hard to tell if the old superstitions regarding those creatures could be trusted, so she was looking for more information.

Oh, if only she had Nerd around to do this research for her.
