Tezuka pulled his Seigaku jacket closer around him in the cool, hazy fog of the early morning. Checking his watch with a furtive glance, his gaze shifted towards the door of the tennis court.
As if on cue, it opened, and, for once, without the flourish of cheers from adoring fans and the shouts of Hyoutei's victory song, Keigo Atobe gracefully stepped in.
There were no words, then. Only a soft nod and jackets cast aside to reveal polo shirts underneath, and then the musical sound of shoes squeaking against the court as the tennis ball went into play, exchanging racquets without missing a beat.
Tezuka watched Atobe.
Atobe watched Tezuka.
And no one else was there to stop them.
Zoro woke up to Luffy perched, straddling his stomach with a grin.
He was wearing kitty ears.
Groaning some, Zoro tried to push Luffy off, wanting only to roll over and go back to sleep, but Luffy wouldn't budge, though he was strangely absent from the usual whining.
"Meow, Zoro," Luffy said softly, pawing at the collar of his shirt, and Zoro sighed some, laying back against the mattress. He lifted a hand, groggily petting Luffy's hair in attempt to appease him.
"Meow," he answered gruffly, still not opening his eyes.
Apparently thrilled with this, Luffy suddenly dove under the covers, clinging to Zoro's side.
"Kitty!" he shrieked, and Zoro only smirked, rolling over and enveloping his pet in burly warmth.
