They were talking. Some of them were yelling and one of them was brandishing that shiny silver stick it was using to walk around like it was some sort of a weapon. Was it a weapon? Nixie's eyes narrowed and as the others went for their chairs she went for that human, snatching the thing and taking the effort to bend it in half. Wait, that wasn't as hard as she'd thought it'd be, the thing was hollow? This is your idea of a weapon? Nixie snorted at the shocked, pale face of the person she'd taken the thing from before dropping it. Old humans clearly didn't have the benefit of being as able to protect themselves as a day-old shark pup was. Really it was sort of pathetic. They are pathetic. Yet another example she could use as why it was a bad idea to mate with them. Charlene's were would turn out just like them and really, that'd just be sad.
Now when she approached one of the humans in their chair they stumbled out of it and, on legs that were even shakier than hers when she first came out of water, hobbled back towards the building. Well that hadn't been all that fun. Frowning, Nixie nonetheless took the chair and went to join the others, leaning on the back to support herself. That'd been interesting. She blinked over at Cloelia and leaned up to look for her sister and then over at the one whose name she didn't know. Now what was it that they were going to do with them? Other than make sure to avoid the humans who seemed upset. Which Nixie didn't understand. They had at least a dozen of the things, they could share them.
