Stood in the kitchen with her skirt hitched up several inches off the floor, Lilith eyed the water that seemed to cover the floor. 'Seemed' because she had not yet looked further into the room and since the source appeared to be the sink, she doubted it had spread much further than where she was stood. Which was far enough, else the hallway carpet would be destroyed. She tried not to speculate on how the mess had been made. Neil would have -- or should have -- cleaned up, Niamh should know better than to leave it there, Isolde was possibly elsewhere until she was certain she wouldn't be in trouble and Cole was... hm. No, she was not pinning blame on her middle child, but he was the only one of her children who did not appreciate the current weather. As the water withdrew, climbing back up the cupboards and across the counter towards the sink, she considered what he was actually up to. It wasn't in her nature to simply assume he was causing some kind of mischief, but it had to be admitted that the odds were stacked against him.
She did wish Isolde wouldn't take the umbrella outside in this weather, immune to lightning or not. It made her uneasy.
Floorboards creaked above her head. Lilith's gaze drifted upwards, eyebrows raising since the room above was her own. Neil was not in the house, Isolde was outside and Niamh did not -- or she hoped she didn't -- just walk into her parents' bedroom. In the knowledge that everything in the kitchen was in its place, the water elemental turned on her heel and meandered upstairs, righting odds and ends as she made her way to the room she shared with her husband. Any other mother might have had a notable reaction to their son walking around in their heels. Lilith just leaned against the doorframe, arms folded and tilted her head. "Damage those Louboutins and you'll be paying for them in more than money," she stated calmly, one corner of her mouth trying to tug into a smile. He could walk in those shoes better than any man had a right to. He also know how to throw together an ensemble faster than most women. One day his sisters would envy him that, assuming they didn't already.
