Let your waters break right through
Who: Eric, Liliya, Elizaveta & Grayson (possibly Elizaveta's blood dolls, NPCs)
Where: Elizaveta's residence
When: Afternoon, before Heme opens
Eric had tried to rise for the debate the night before but he had still been weak. Despite a constant flow of blood delivered to him by Veta's blood dolls (they always seemed to know every single moment he roused), he had still been extremely weak at the end of the day. Elizaveta had been gracious enough to allow him to stay at her residence while he convalesced, even if she had plans and other commitments. It wasn't as if he could do any destruction to her residence given his condition, anyway. Nevertheless, despite the fact that Eric still did not feel at the top of his game, it was his duty to do something about it. Not to mention report to his sires and the elders. First, however, he needed to consult with Liliya and see how she would prefer he handle this. Hence, the meeting at Elizaveta's place. The Russian had kindly seen to it that both Liliya and Grayson were informed of the conversation. Grayson had received an invitation because Eric sincerely needed to hear his best friend's opinion on the matter. He hadn't had the opportunity to receive this sort of advice for years and he needed to hear it now.
Turning his hands over and then back, Eric inspected the scars on his hands. They would fade in time but considering the flesh had only just begun to grow back, his hands still seemed slightly raw where the nails had burned through. He had read that Kendal had released a statement but he needed to make his own...as well as explain his sudden disappearance. And explain Miss Hathaway's presence at the church. Considering her reputation, he needed to salvage his own. His feet were also only just healing but he could walk fine on them and the bullet wound through his leg was healing sufficiently that he did not even have to limp. Grayson's generous gift of earth elemental blood had saved his life...or his unlife, even. He would have to repay his best friend at some point. He wasn't sure how yet, but he definitely owed Grayson and Elizaveta debts of gratitude. Oh, and Kendal as well. They would all be in his prayers, of course, but something more substantial would be necessary. Nevertheless, that was all concerns for another time. Today, they were to talk about Eric's next steps. Stepping into the room Elizaveta had set aside for today's meeting, he greeted his host and sat by her as they waited for their other guests.
