Alanna knew that she was coming up on someone, or rather that someone was coming at her, thanks to the change in the scent of the air and her dark eyes widened at the strange familiarity. No, it was not Zach, but it was someone almost similar. There can't be more than one of them, can there? No, that was impossible, her nose was getting stuffed up or something and she was just imagining things because everything was such a mess these days. Yes, that was it, that dark-haired woman who looked like she was dressed for a funeral in those colors was probably just some sort of a reptilian were and Alanna's inner chipmunk was trying to frighten her. But Alanna swallowed her fear, pushed it into a little box to be opened when she was in her apartment and could chitter it all out with only Callalily staring at her, and managed a weak returning smile. "Good-" but before the rest could come out she found herself being run into.
Alanna was normally too jumpy and skittish to ever yell at someone. She would normally slink away and whine about it to herself, possibly have a complete freak-out at being touched, but she would not confront the person. Today was a weird day though. It had been a weird week and while her inner chipmunk was demanding that she run away now before the snake-scented woman got man or something, Alanna found herself turning. She was trembling from the touch and had had that brief pang of emptiness that came from realizing there were no memories attached to this one and her voice was a squeak of a whisper that she half-hoped did not reach the woman's ears, "Most people would say excuse me when they do that."
