Liliya no longer showed humanity for a very simple reason - she was no longer human. Even when she had been there had not been all that much compassion towards others in her. She had been raised to be the best politician that she could be and one of the key elements for that, according to her father, was not having emotion towards others. It got into the way. Besides, what I care about gets taken. The only emotion that she really showed with any consistency was her possessiveness towards those things that were completely and totally hers. Or supposed to be. It also helped a lot with Naoki seeing as how she had zero interest in the man and had not particularly desired a repeat of what had been with Alex. A light shudder ran through her just at the mere thought of that, enhanced when she realized that she was smelling Naoki's blood. Smelling and unable to bite because he's already hurt. Oh lovely. She hated when that happened.
Bandages, a towel and tea... Liliya could handle that, even the tea. "Make sure he doesn't pass out," she informed Snowball as she turned to gather what was necessary. Of course a very easy way to ensure his healing and improvement would be to give him some of her own blood. But Liliya was not inclined towards that path of action even in the slightest. She was the blood-drinker of the house and did not have any intentions of sharing her own with anyone else. Even Naoki. While the water for the tea was boiling, the vampire gathered up a few towels and some bandages from the bathroom before returning and setting them on the couch near her husband. It was odd to be getting things for him and it showed in her awkward motions. She had fully intended on letting him do it himself but her fingers itched and finally she just signed, 'Let me do it.' and went about taking care of his wounds. 'What exactly did you do to end in this shape?'
