Icarus Who: Chris and Erika Where: Grocery Store When: Mid-Afternoon
It was amazing how groceries never seemed to last as long as you intended or how you always seemed to forget one or two things. Today, Erika was here for both reasons: her bread had been consumed, devoured in the form of sandwiches and, more importantly, in the meatloaf which had, later, become those same sandwiches. She had also neglected to pick up butter, and her milk was, once again, running low. It was amazing how much food one person (and one very spoiled cat) could go through in a few short days.
What else did she need, Erika pondered as she glanced around the grocery store, standing stationary beside the dairy case. It seemed such a waste of time to come all the way into town for a handful of items. It wouldn't hurt to stock up for the following week -- all so she could come back halfway through and do this again.
