Linnea blinked at having a fork waved at her. That was something she was very much not used to, but it did not seem like a cruel gesture so she accepted it as part of the statement. "I'm very grateful that I had my mother and miss her terribly, and if I made it seem otherwise then I apologize." To have no one like Bradley was a terrible thing in her mind and she could not have imagined how difficult it must have been. Though she had seen evidences of why it was a bad idea in Bren. That girl was more unstable than most people seemed to know. She herself did not even know the depths and was probably happier that way. Dealing with her own mind was enough. "But see, when it comes to triggering earthquakes you can also show them happening because it's an ability you have. Cannot show a child why two and two make four because then they start asking why it's called four." Or at least hers had been that way. Maybe they had been that way just to give her a headache for something she did not even know she had done.
"I just say go at it over and over and never stop," Kajsa remarked with a shrug. "Because drilling it in is as good a way to make sure it sticks as any. That's how I got Dagmar to stop skipping history class when she was a freshman. Oh don't give me that look, mom, she totally skipped it to get extra time in the pool."
Linnea sighed, giving Bradley an apologetic look. He really did not have to hear about the less-good side of her family. No one needed to hear about that. She had been raised to believe that certain things just stayed inside of the home and clearly those beliefs had not fully transferred to her children. "Dagmar's a very good girl, you'll have to excuse Kajsa. She just likes to tease her even when she's not present. But if you ever need help mentoring or figuring out exercises, I'd be glad to try even if our elements are different."
