This way, to the lake!
Who: Noelle, Roxy, Calder (NPC), and Roxy's family at the start (NPCs)
When: Afternoon
Where: Local lake for swim tiemz
Oh my god, this weather suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks. Roxy was curled up in her signature ice cooler in her room as the adorable penguin she was, trying to soak up as much coolness as possible. The heat was killing her and making the poor girl rather lethargic. She poked her head on out every now and then, watching her younger sister listen to music and chat with friends online. It was quite tame until Audrey came in and dumped a 12-pack of sodas into the cooler, completely blind to the fact her older sister was occupying the space.
Within seconds, Roxy was honking and flapping her wings like crazy as she shot on out, waddling her way to their bathroom as she made a massive scene out of the whole ordeal. Katherine remained at her computer, trying not to laugh, and Audrey was busy asking why her older sister was yet again taking up the ice cooler for her own personal needs. By the time Roxy hit the bathroom, she shifted into her human form and the noise changed from honks to a yelling human voice.
"-and how do you miss a freaking penguin sitting in the ice cooler, huh?! I'M NOT THAT HARD TO MISS, GENIUS."
"What the hell is going on?!" Her mother poked her head out from the corner, rather confused as hell.
"Audrey dumped a 12-pack of sodas onto me!" Roxy screamed from the bathroom.
"Oh my god, did not! You're the loser who's in that-"
"Bitch, please, IT'S MY FUCKING COOLER!" Roxy poked her head out while in the middle of changing.
The two sisters continued to bicker back and forth before mommy dearest stepped in and told them to knock it off and play nice. Finally dressed, Roxy threw her hands up in the area, deeming it necessary to get the hell out of the house. She was already stressed as it was about Charlene and she didn't need family bullshit over an ice cooler. But she did want to stay cool. Hmm, a trip out to the lake for a swim sounded like it was in order. With that in mind, Roxy picked up her cellphone and scrolled through her contacts, trying to figure out who would be the best swimming buddy. And that's when it hit her.
"Noelle!" With a smile on her face, she found the girl's number and proceeded to call it.
