Who: Psalm and Myra
What: Confrentation, Psalm being weird
When: Thursday, just after school let out
Where: Hallways at school
Psalm hardly kept anything in his locker beyond what was necessary, so he only went to his locker on his last day to double check that he hadn't left any pencils in it. As he opened up his locker, a picture fluttered out of his locker, and then
another, and
another, and another, and another until six pictures came out, piled carelessly on the floor. Cautiously, Psalm picked them up and looked at them, afraid this might be some sort of trick. But when he saw what they were he went from confused to upset. There was only one girl who could have possibly done this, Myra. It was like she had a sixth sense that things had gotten especially terrible for him and she wanted to make them better, but not even their old game of borrowing and rearranging their possesions would make him feel better. In fact, it only made him feel worse because now he was going to have to tell her to back off again.
Psalm finished packing everything into his bookbag, looking over the pictures again wondering how he could have ever been so naive as he was in those pictures before marching over to Myra's locker. She was looking through something and Psalm decided that waiting for her to be finished would seem to friendly so he shoved the pictures in her direction, extending his arm forcefully. "Here, take them. I don't want them." He said in a firm voice. Out of all the things he had to change with his life, being mean to Myra to protect her was the hardest of all. How long had she carried around these pictures anyway? He didn't remember seeing them ever. When she took a few seconds to turn around he let out a sigh. "Myra just take the stupid things. I told you before, we aren't friends."
