I'm really only here because I was in the neighborhood
Who: Ben and Amelia
Where: Amelia's doorstep
When: At about 3PM
It had been in the middle of Ben's final fitting for the tuxedo he would be wearing to the Moriarty event later tonight that he had gotten Will's text message; he was supposed to make himself scarce for the afternoon, again, probably up until near 6:30PM, at which time he had to go home, get ready, and then go pick up Autumn for the party. And it did not take Ben long at all to decide this time he wouldn't be having a long coffee break by himself; in fact, this was possibly the excuse he needed to try and get Amelia to go out with him again, if only for coffee. Nobody except Will knew of what Ben didn't like to call obsession over the High School Principal; it was more of a really strong attraction that had been sneaking into his brain quite a bit lately. Amelia was an interesting woman and there was something about her that attracted Ben, but he wasn't obsessed. That was just creepy, and Ben was not creepy.
It did not take him long at all to strip out of his tux, get it properly packaged, pay for it and drive away to Hilltop Road, where Amelia lived. As he parked up to the curb, Ben checked himself on the rear view mirror, and then dashed off to Amelia's doorstep. He rang the bell, and waited.
