If you think that a kiss is all in the lips, c'mon, you got it all wrong, man
Who: Autumn and Graham
When: 6pm
Where: Autumn's place, then off to Detroit
Graham had spent most of the morning sleeping, seeing that the rain eventually died down. He could never fall asleep when it was pouring buckets outside. It merely put him on edge and no amount of drugs and alcohol could ease him down so he could eventually fall asleep. Even when he did finally pass out it was only for a few hours. So much for trying to be well rested before heading out for the night. Not like he was always well rested to begin with.
At some point he dropped by his parents' place, made sure only Uli was home, and gathered up his equipment for Detroit. He was completely elated with the fact his kid sister still kept all his old amps and effects units. They somehow managed to fit in either the trunk or backseat perfectly, leaving room for the passenger side. He hoped Autumn would be fine with his black Chevelle. Nothing overly fancy, but it had wheels and took him all over the country.
Once six came up close, he made his way towards the address Autumn had scribbled down on the cocktail napkin. Graham was quite impressed with the house from the outside. For someone who lived on the farm in the south, she definitely knew how to live a good life. After parking his car, Graham slipped out and made his way to the front door. Hopefully she had enough time to prep herself for the night. Either way Graham was happy just to have someone accompany him. As content as he was to be playing with Rigby and hopefully seeing his LA girl, he felt a bit bummed initially when he couldn't bring someone along with him. Now he could.
He knocked on the door sharply, then leaned against the door frame and waited, removing his hat in the process. Just another one of his polite mannerisms while around a woman. Besides, Autumn didn't deserve anything less.
Autumn got home from school and immediately took a shower and climbed into bed for a short nap. To say she was exhausted was an understatement. She was glad that she didn't have to work at the restaurant tonight and that she could go out with Graham. She fell asleep with Suri snuggled close to her and her alarm set for one hour.
When her alarm went off, she got out of bed, feeling energized. She quickly dried out her hair but not straightening it. She wanted it to have a little volume and wave to it. She put on her dress, jewelry and boots. She took a twirl in the mirror, thinking she looked pretty hot.
Autumn let Suri out for the night and put down some dog food. She transferred her wallet, keys and lip gloss into a small brown clutch and was finishing that up when she heard a knock at her door. She jumped a little, the knock having startled her before running to the door. She stopped herself and took a few deep breaths before throwing open the door. "Hi!"
The door suddenly opening after a while caught Graham's attention. Looking down he spotted Autumn there in- wow. That pretty much summed up his thoughts on her outfit. He recalled the two of them having a brief discussion as to what she should wear, but something like the short, sultry dress she was wearing right that second didn't entirely cross Graham's mind. Not that he was complaining. Far from it, actually. He was quite happy he chose to dress up for the evening as well, wearing something similar to his attire the previous night, though in all black and a pea coat replaced his trench coat.
"Hey there." His brown eyes looked her over one more time before returning to her eyes. "You look amazing tonight. Hope I didn't keep you waiting. You ready?" Graham extending an arm out to Autumn, prepared to escort her to his car. Ok, so it wasn't that far of a walk, but he wanted to be polite.
"Thank you!" Autumn blushed. She thought she looked pretty good and was happy that he thought so as well. "So do you...wow!" And he did. His outfit was similar to the night before but in black and it suited him. He looked unique and hot and priceless.
"Sure, let me grab my purse." Autumn disappeared in the house and grabbed her clutch. She kissed Suri on the head and reassured her that he was a good people. Suri would worry, as was her nature, but Autumn needed this night of fun.
Autumn appeared at the door again and before she closed it, she put her arms around Graham's neck and hugged him. He smelled good. A kind of earthy, musky smell. She liked it a lot.
Well, so much for him offering his arm to her. Graham fluttered his eyes and then proceeded to chuckle, pulling Autumn in a warm hug. Apparently she was happy to see him, and Graham was, too. It had been an extremely long time since someone greeted him with such enthusiasm, which explained why he held the embrace a bit longer than what was needed. When he finally pulled back, he looked down to Autumn, sweeping some locks of hair out from her face.
"So you good now? Don't want you to forget anything before we take off." And even if they were five minutes away from Detroit, he probably wouldn't have minded pulling a u-turn to go back to Scarlet Oak. Rigby and Fina could wait. Hell, they could entertain each other, so maybe it was a good plan after all.
Autumn relished the feel of his arms around her and held him tight. She smiled at him, truly happier than she had been in a long time. She had felt like she was going around in a bubble of grief and pain for so long but now, she was feeling alive for the first time in a while.
"Yes, I'm good now," she said as she pulled the door shut and locked it. "Let's hit the road!"
That said, Graham slipped an arm around her tiny waist and pulled her in close while escorting her to his car. He was still happy his sister gave him money to fix and clean up the Chevelle, or else it probably wouldn't be anything amazing. Either way, it still had wheels and turned on. Not to mention the seat could lean back completely horizontal. Damn amps being in the way, though.
"So that's your place?" Graham asked, turning his head for a second to catch a glimpse of it. "Fucking nice house or whatever for a southern girl like yourself. How the hell do you manage that?"
Autumn snuggled against his side as they walked to his car. She thought about offering hers for the ride since it had a bit more room, but he already had the car packed and she didn't mind being in close quarters with him.
When he stopped to look back at her house, Autumn didn't look, afraid she might get teary eyed. The perfectness of her house would often catch her off guard. "It's part of that sad story I mentioned last night. Long story short, my dad died a couple of months ago and left me a lot of money." Autumn didn't get into the rest of the history because this was supposed to be a fun evening.
"I'm sorry." Graham looked away from the house, feeling a bit bad that he once again hit a bad note with her. "If it makes you feel any better, it's a shit ton more than my dad would ever do for me." He briefly recalled him and his father having a fist fight one night when Graham had returned from prison, obviously not welcomed. It ended with several bruises and bloody knuckles, not to mention being disowned by his parents altogether. The thought of his father giving him a house was absolutely absurd.
He paused before the passenger side door and stood before Autumn, slipping a finger beneath her chin and forced her to look up at him. "No more sad stories, though, ok? This is suppose to be a fun night." Graham smiled at her, hoping that would cheer her up somewhat.
"Don't be," Autumn said. If Graham knew that her own parents had disowned her as well, they would at least have that in common. Not a great thing to have in common, but at least it would be something. Although tonight is so the wrong time to be having such a heavy conversation.
Autumn smiled up at him. "No more sad stories," she promised with a smile, her hands were resting lightly against his hips.
"Well, now that that's settled." Graham smirked a bit, enjoying the placement of her hands. He then leaned into her, nuzzling into her face gently before kissing her lips. Seemed like the right thing to do in order to pick up the mood. Hopefully it wouldn't turn into some drawn out make-out session against his car. Not that Graham minded in any bit, but he imagined Rigby and Fina waiting several hours past their meeting time and being quite upset. But wait, there was that whole tidbit in his prior thoughts about them entertaining one another. Scratch that.
Autumn leaned into the kiss, enjoying the feel of his lips against hers. She grasped his hips and pulled him closer, angling her head to deepen the kiss. She enjoyed kissing, it was one of her favorite past times with boys.
She did force herself to pull away because they needed to hit the road. "Mm, what a greeting." She leaned in and pecked him on the lips before completely moving away.
"Are you excited about tonight?"
Graham found himself whimpering ever-so slightly when Autumn finally backed out from the kiss. Damn, she was really good at that. He kept smiling at her while opening the passenger side door for her, offering his hand in case she needed help plopping inside. "Excited? Yeah. Pretty fucking nervous, too. Been a long while since I've done a gig like this. Probably even longer since I've done it with someone I know."
He was quite happy that he bumped into Rigby Saturday night, seeing that it was just the shove he needed to get back in playing the guitar on stage. Actually singing, however? Eh, not so much. Then again, he did have Autumn there for him. Maybe she was all he needed in order to singing at least one song.
Autumn slid into the car and waited while he went around to get inside. "I'm surprised that you're nervous. I'm sure you're gonna do great! I can't wait to hear you play." She reached over and squeezed his thigh reassuringly. She couldn't stop touching him for some reason. She had always been a touchy feely person, but he brought it out in a while new level for her.
"I have every right to be nervous." Graham explained before closing the door, then continued once he settled into the driver's side. "I should be fine as long as he's doing a majority of the singing and not me." Looking over to Autumn, Graham took his hat and plopped it on her head playfully. Aww, she was adorable! "Sorry for all the cluttered shit in here, but I prefer playing with my own crap as opposed to whatever they have in Detroit. Might be old as hell and in need to be tossed out, but I love the sound they produce."
Then her hand was at his thigh. Lovely, he was two for two so far. One second she was pulling away from his lips and the next she was latched onto his thigh. Graham stifled a laugh at that one. Some women were just weird like that, and he stopped questioning them a long time ago.
"You don't like to sing?" His voice wasn't a traditional 'singing' voice, but she had no doubt that he could carry a tune. She was also vaguely curious to see who his friend was and what he sounded like. This sounded like it was going to be a hot evening full of great singing. She giggled when he plopped his hat on her head and she reached up to adjust it so it would stay on. Too bad it wasn't brown or she'd wear it all night.
She twisted around to look at the aforementioned crap and shrugged. "Its your shit. It's comfortable. No problem with that."
Autumn was a touchy feely person. So he better get used to her touches. And she only pulled away to get him to Detroit on time. She didn't want to be the cause of them being late or anything.
Probably a smart move on Autumn's half to pull away when she could. While Graham had excellent concentration, he knew the minute they arrived Detroit he would have pounced if she kept that up. Regardless, it was nice to know that he could have a woman still fawning over him. And here he thought he was losing his touch or something.
"I didn't say I don't like singing." Graham responding, starting up the car in the process. "I enjoy it a lot, actually, it's just that people don't like me singing." That said, the radio suddenly blasted music out the speakers. Graham cursed loudly and leaned in to turn it down. He had almost forgotten that he was blasting Nine Inch Nails on the way to Autumn's place. "If you don't like the shit playing now, I have three CD cases in the back. Feel free to look through them and pick something you like. Or fuck, you can just turn it off, I don't mind."
Graham could still pounce once they got to Detroit and Autumn wouldn't be complaining in the least little bit.
Autumn yelped when the music suddenly blasted, jumping in her seat. She took her hand off his thigh to clutch at her heart and turn off the radio with the other hand. "Dear God, I think that took ten years off my life," she laughed, slightly breathless. "S'okay if we turn it off? Makes talking easier and I definitely want to get to know you better."
She turned in her seat so her back was sort of against the door and she could see him better. He really was unusual looking, but in a hot bad boy kind of way. She found him strangely appealing. She glanced down at her hands before he could catch her staring at him and realized that her dress was quite short when she sat down. She was showing a lot more leg and thigh than she realized she would be. She tried to pull it down but it was down as far as it would go.
"Trust me, I don't mind at all. Listening to you is on par with music." He paused to think that one over for a second, scrunching his face together while letting out an amused laugh. "Fuck, that sounded cheesy as hell." Graham shook his head and began backing out, looking over his shoulder while he maneuvered the car. After shifting it into drive, he brought his head back around, pausing as he caught a glimpse of her legs. Well, it was a lot more than just that, and whether it was intentional or not was beyond Graham, but he relished the view. Looking her over quickly, he smiled to Autumn before putting his eyes back onto the road and went on driving.
Autumn's cheeks flushed with a blush at his compliment. "Not cheesy... totally cute!" she said, a little embarrassed. Her cheeks got even redder when he was checking out her legs. She often wished she had long supermodel legs, but he was making her feel like they were.
"So what is on your set list for tonight?" she asked, trying to distract them both. The sexual tension in the car was palatable and while she was enjoying it, he needed to focus on driving. Later, when they were parked, they could explore this sexual tension, but not while driving. Even as she was thinking that, she reached over and grabbed his hand and pulling it into her lap, lightly tracing the lines of his palm.
He let out a sigh, rather relieved that his lame compliment actually made her blush. Most girls would have raised an eyebrow and given him that, 'Really? You just said that?' look, but Autumn was different. Then again, she was a southern girl, which was a completely different breed altogether in Graham's mind. It was refreshing for the fire elemental and kept the smile on his face.
"You mean song wise? Shit, we really didn't talk about that." Graham tapped his fingers against the steering wheel, catching a glimpse of Autumn stealing his free hand to tease. Such a touchy-feely girl. He loved that. "I mean, I prefer to do something on the spot. He and I kind of sit on the same wave length music wise, so if he starts playing something I just dive right in and vice versa." Graham paused, thinking over a few songs in his head while his warm hand wrapped around Autumn's. "I'd love to play Knights of Cydonia. That's a fucking awesome song to do on guitar. Maybe a few others, but that one definitely sticks out like a sore thumb." His brown eyes glanced to Autumn while perking up a brow. "Did you have any requests, fair lady?"
Autumn listened to him talk and traced idle patterns into his palm. She just liked having contact with him, it made her feel good. "Ohh, I really like Muse," Autumn said, suddenly even the more excited for the show. "I like anything Damian Rice, really. There's this smaller band named MWK that I like, but I doubt you know any of their stuff. They aren't like major label or anything. They played a small college show when I was in school and they were awesome. Basically anything slower and acoustic, you're safe with." Most of her music experience had been country, which she hated with a passion, so she would just turn off the radio instead of listen to that crap. It wasn't until she got to college that she was introduced to other kinds of music. She liked rock for the most part - the more modern rock, not classical rock or anything.
"As far as specific requests not really." Autumn could have requested 9 Crimes by Damian Rice, but she wanted to savor the memory of Rigby singing it. It had been too beautiful and perfect. Graham wouldn't ruin the song or anything, she just wanted to hang on to that particular memory.
So she liked Muse and anything by Damian Rice. Graham could only think of a few songs by him off the top of his head, but he wasn't entirely sure if it was his style. He was a bit worried when she mentioned the 'anything slower and acoustic' part, mainly because Graham was the complete opposite. While he did enjoy playing on his acoustic from time to time, Graham much preferred the hard, rigid, and rapid sounds an electric could produce. Hopefully she didn't mind that, and hopefully she didn't mind that his personality mirrored the electric more so than the acoustic.
"Well then, I guess I'm going to have to surprise you somehow." His eyes glanced over to Autumn, eying her still playing with his hand. Graham would have been lying if he said there was no sexual tension between the two, but he knew that could wait until after Detroit. Ok, maybe they could have some fun before meeting up with the other two, but Graham wasn't going to push his luck too far yet.
"You've already surprised me," Autumn said, blushing a bit. And he had. He wasn't the normal type of guy that she went for but he seemed different. He had manners and knew how to treat a woman. She was impressed by him. "Besides, I'm sure I'll love whatever you end up playing." She said that with utter confidence because she would like whatever it is, if only for the person playing/singing.
"How long will it take us to get to Detroit?" She was excited to see him perform.
"Probably forty or forty-five minutes, depending how fast I feel like driving. Might get there in thirty if there's no traffic." He locked his hand into Autumn's, letting his fingers wrap around her smaller hand. Hopefully she didn't mind. "It's really not that shitty of a drive. Then again, I'm used to driving long distances without stopping so this is nothing to. But once we get into the city, we're meeting up at a small corner cafe. Can get you your water with lemon, be all fancy and shit." Graham teased her, chuckling at the thought. Blech, he really hated water, but whatever made her happy. He could drink her share of coffee for all he cared.
Autumn didn't mind at all when he grabbed her hand, his grip firm and warm...comfortable. "Oh, I had thought it was a lot further than that for some reason. Not a bad drive at all." Part of her was a little disappointed because she wanted to spend as much time with him alone as she could.
She laughed at his remembering her water with lemon. "Hey, don't you knock my drink. It's good!" She glanced at him from underneath her lashes. "If you're lucky, you might get a taste."
Graham laughed along with Autumn, glad that he made her amused rather than offended. He was rather happy he wasn't in her position, being pregnant at all. He couldn't imagine sticking to just water for a drink. The amount of crap he would have to cut from his life made Graham cringe slightly at the thought. Better her than him. "What do you mean I might get a taste? Water is probably the last thing I would possibly drink, unless it's carbonated. I can stand that shit, but fuck, not straight up water." Then he paused and let her words run through his mind again. Was she trying to imply something else and he completely missed that? Graham shot her a peculiar look, wondering if she had something else in mind.
The car slowed down for a red light and Autumn leaned over and kissed him. "That's what I mean," she murmured against his lips. She kissed him again and then settled back into her seat, grabbing his hand again.
Her cheeks were slightly red and she grinned at him. "Sorry, couldn't help myself," she giggled.
Wow. Just wow. There was something very adorable and affectionate about Autumn, but at the same time there was a little spitfire in her, and Graham utterly relished it. His own inner fire flared up considerable when she pulled him into the kiss. He chuckled as she pulled away, happy that he didn't miss the light turning green while they were caught up with one another.
"Holy fuck, you are something else, Autumn." He shook his head while continuing to drive. "And trust me, that's an amazing thing. I mean, hell, you're making start to enjoy water." Glancing over to her, Graham shot her a rather alluring stare as his eyes traveled over her body briefly before setting them back onto the road. If they kept this up they were either going to be horribly late or in a car accident.
Autumn giggled, enjoying his reaction. He made her feel pretty and every girl wants to feel pretty. "I think that this might be one of those times where you say fuck the speed limit and just get us there," she suggested helpfully. She wasn't sure what had come over her but he certainly brought out the bad girl in her. She liked it and she liked him. She was having fun with him and that was what tonight was supposed to be about.
"So, these friends we're meeting... have you known them a long time?" She was hoping that perhaps casual conversation would put a damper on some of the sexual tension between them. Or at the very lease, distract her from it.
"Eh, not entirely. The guy I'm playing with we met back several years ago in Philadelphia. We were both just passing through and found out we both had the same love for music, so we figured why not fucking jam together, right? I just bumped into him the other night and decided to do it all over again. Haven't really been in touch over the past years, but then again, I can say that about a lot of people." Graham sighed a bit as he eased back into his seat some more. Such a horrible thing to say, but it was the truth. "He's bringing his girlfriend along, too. Apparently she's big on music herself. I've never met her, though, so I have no fucking clue what she's like."
His hand made its way back over to Autumn, stroking her arm idly while focusing on the road. "It should be a good time tonight, I don't see why not. Besides, if you're not having fun we can always take the show elsewhere." Graham smiled at the thought. The constant teasing was going to be tough for him to manage, especially after her comment about him speeding to Detroit so they could simply get there. Graham could only imagine what she had in mind when they arrived.
Autumn felt bad for Graham. And Rigby. It must be hard going through life never getting close to people. Perhaps Autumn could change that for them. She was not one to let people go easily. Sure she could do the casual dating thing, the friends with benefits, but she remained close and loyal to her friends. She anticipated nothing else with Rigby and Graham.
"Oh I have no doubt I'll have fun tonight," Autumn reassured him. She shivered as his hand stroked her arm, setting her nerves on fire. "And I have no doubt we'll be taking the show elsewhere tonight too. Just after. Or before. But not during." Although, Autumn could see definite possibilities in all three options.
"Really?" That caught his attention. All Graham could envision was Autumn suddenly launching herself onto him while he was up on stage. Hopefully if she did pull a stunt like that it wouldn't be near the amps at all. The idea of being knocked back head first into one of the amplifiers was not under Graham's list of 'having fun' for the night. "You got some optimism in you there, Autumn." And probably dead on, as well. Graham tried his best to be a gentleman around women and not come off as a womanizer, but if there was a pretty lady that was willing to give him more face time than he pictured in the first place? He was not going to back down from that. "Shit, more power to you. I'm not complaining."
Autumn laughed, "No, I don't figure making out with you on stage is the best thing. It would probably get y'all booed off stage and then I would feel bad. Well, good, but bad. Oh nevermind." She made herself stop talking before she really put her foot in her mouth.
Optimism? Was she misreading the signals? she wondered. She bit her lower lip between her teeth, worrying that she was flirting too much. She knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to go after it, but maybe Graham didn't like that so much. She decided to try to dial it back some so as not to run him off completely.
There was definitely nothing to misread with Graham. He merely went about his life without an preconceived concepts of anything, whether it was women or live gigs. Graham learned a long time ago to not psyche himself up for anything and just play with the cards he was dealt. He was completely happy with having Autumn's company, never mind the physical attention the two were exchanging. If Autumn had other ideas of her own, all she had to do was hook a leash onto Graham, give it a few tugs, and he was all hers.
"Don't say that." Graham shot her a look upon her saying 'nevermind.' "I should be the one apologizing. Just haven't had someone as lovely as yourself throw themselves at me in a fucking long time." There was Jezebelle and Adelle, but those two were completely different. Graham knew he was the one who took the initiative with Jezebelle and Adelle had an odd way of making him take the initiative. It actually pissed him off when she kept verbally suggesting him to do things, like take her out for lunch, yet never contemplate to do what Autumn was doing. Autumn was completely different from the prior two, and Graham loved it so far.
That made Autumn grin. Though she felt a little sheepish for throwing herself at him, it is what it is. She wasn't one to pussyfoot around and not get what she wanted. And right now? Graham was definitely on her list of the wanted. "You should be having girls throwing their panties at you," Autumn laughed. She had a feeling that after seeing him perform, she'd definitely want to be throwing hers. There was just something utterly raw and sexy about live shows and she was looking forward to seeing Graham in that element.
Now Graham was actually blushing a bit at her words. Wow, she was really forward, and it took every sane nerve in him to hold himself back from pulling over and going 'screw Detroit' and just spend the rest of his night with Autumn. Biting his lip slightly, he merely shook his head, trying to actually remember now when the last time he had been with a girl like Autumn was. Probably back when he was in New England, for all he knew, a good year or two ago. "You sure you're from the south? You do a damn good job at being unladylike on and off." For now he had to keep his eyes on the road and focus on getting them safely to Detroit. At least he would have an interesting story for Rigby if they were late. The very thought made Graham grin.
"Are you blushing?" Autumn squealed. She reached over and stroked his warm cheek. She leaned over and kissed his cheek, her lips lingering against his skin. She for one, wouldn't mind being a tad bit late to Detroit. She wasn't in a rush to share him with his friends.
At his question she had to laugh. "Why yes, good sir, I am from the very deep South," she said with an exaggerated Southern drawl. "I'm quite the Southern Belle." She looked at him, hands under her chin with her eyelashes fluttering.
Autumn should have been lucky that keeping stellar concentration was a strength of his or else Graham would have driven off the road when she began teasing him with her lips again. Her touch merely brought out more of the red hue in his skin, chuckling a bit as he continued to drive. "Are you now? So far you're making me think otherwise." His eyes darted over to Autumn's only for a moment, then shot back ahead of him. "I don't care what you are at this point. I'm enjoying myself way too much to even remotely reconsider."
"Good thing, because you're kinda stuck with me," Autumn laughed. She relaxed back in her seat and stared out the window, needing to focus on something other than Graham. "You think you like me now? You should see me with a couple of drinks in me. Too bad that's not going to happen tonight, but boy, you've missed out. Or so I'm told at least," she teased. She didn't drink often, but when she did, she got very flirty. Her friends from college were all the time pulling her away from potentially embarrassing situations. She hated being pulled away in the moment, but was always grateful in the morning.
Too bad she was pregnant, because he would have loved to share a drink or two or ten with Autumn. Probably safer for them and all of those around them that they didn't drink themselves silly into the night. He suddenly imagined Autumn throwing herself at him on stage while being drunk and suddenly busted out laughing. "Shit, that's a bit funny, don't mind me. I'm quite enjoying you without any booze in your system though. Perhaps I can drink your shares of alcohol and we can call it even somehow?" That actually made no sense, but it gave Graham an excuse to drink more. Any lush like himself always found some reason to drink, so why not?
Autumn loved his laugh. He didn't laugh often but when he did it was great. "As long as you give me your keys, you can drink as much as you want. I got precious cargo on board." She didn't want him to drink too much because he was intriguing enough as purely himself and she wanted to experience him sober first. "I just hope you aren't the opposite of me when you drink and get like celibate or something," she giggled.
"Hey, that actually sounds like an offer, so don't be having any seconds thoughts now." Graham smirked for a moment. "And as far as I'm concerned, myself and the word celibate should never be in the same fucking sentence, no pun intended."
Thankfully the traffic going into the city wasn't nearly as bad as Graham had expected it to be. The two of them arrived in about five minutes under the expected time. Once they were inside the city, he pulled up to the lounge they were expected to play at that night and parked. "We're about twenty-five minutes early or so, and the place where I said we'd meet up is some small cafe about two blocks from here. Figured keep the car by the lounge because I sure as fuck do not want to be toting this shit for more than half a block." That said, Graham looked on over to Autumn. Hopefully walking several blocks to meet up with Rigby and Fina then walk on back was fine with her. If anything it was sheer luck that Graham found a place that was so close to the rendezvous point.
"Good to know," Autumn laughed. "Very good to know!"
And before she knew it he was pulling into a parking lot in front of what he said was the lounge he would be performing at. "That's cool," she said. "I don't mind the walk. It would be nice to have a little fresh air."
"But first," she murmured, her voice low. She unbuckled hear seat belt and wedged herself between the steering wheel and him, settling herself in his lap. "We need to make time for this." She wound her arms around his neck and her eyes flicked to his lips and back to his eyes, smiling at him.
"Do we now?" He replied, also lowering his voice. It didn't take long for Graham give in. His arms slid around her waist and thus pulled her in closer, then he tilted his head to the side and eased his face into hers, softly brushing his lips over her own. There was something different about Autumn compared to his last couple of encounters last week and that something made him continue to smile as he slowly deepened the kiss. Definitely worth the freaking drive for just that.
Autumn kissed him back, her hands coming up to rest on his cheeks. Her lips opened over his and she tasted his unique taste. She pulled back and looked at him, her hands touching his face, light fleeting touches. "This okay?" She certainly hoped it was okay. She didn't want to stop anytime soon. She knew they had to go in a few minutes, but they could spare a few minutes she hoped.
Graham playfully bumped noses with her as his brown eyes flared up. "This is perfectly fine, no need to worry." That said, one of his hands, quickly traveled up her back and found home at her neck, letting him pull her back into his lips. He also knew the situation could easily snowball from a couple of minutes to who knew how long, but he merely wanted to enjoy the moment. Graham continued to kiss Autumn, starting off steady with soft nibbles, then worked his way deeper into her lips as if hungry for more. The fire elemental inside of him wasn't going to just settle for a simple, sweet kiss, which was both fortunate and unfortunate for the two. If only they had more time and... well, not the driver's seat of the car to work with.
Graham definitely knew how to kiss. His lips nibbled and then deepened the kiss. Autumn willingly opened to him, surrendering to his kissing prowess. Autumn's fingers dove into his hair, hooking in and tugging slightly. She shifted in his lap, getting as close to him as he could. Luckily she was a tiny thing and she fit in the front seat with him. And good thing she wore a dress, even if said dress had ridden far up her thighs, showing a lot of skin.
Whether it was the fact he had been rather experienced with his many female encounters or the fact he was a fire elemental - or shit, why not both - was unknown, but did it really matter? It sure as hell didn't for Graham. He tugged on Autumn some more, cooing into her lips as they progressed. Now if only he had the chance to pull away and crane his neck somehow to catch a glimpse at the alluring skin she was showing off. For then he was too occupied on her taste, slowly slipping his tongue out to skin over her lower lip. So tempting and yet so little time.
When his tongue skimmed over her lower lip, she melted into him, opening her mouth to him. A small breathy moan escaped her lips, being swallowed by Graham. She cuddled close to him, wanting to feel more of him. She moved her hands from his hair to his tie, loosening his tie before tugging it off. She undid the first couple of buttons and kissed down his neck to the bit of chest she had exposed.
Well someone was hasty. Leaning his head back, Graham let out a drawn-out moan for Autumn, desperately wishing in the back of his head that they had more time. God, why did he have to be so impatient at times? His fingers caressed the back of her neck, encouraging to keep going while his lips skimmed over her forehead. "Keep this up and there won't be a gig." He teased her with a hushed voice. Smiling into her skin, he watched her as best as he could from his angle.
Autumn pulled away long enough to say, "And the problem with that is?" she teased. She didn't allow a response from him as she covered his lips with hers. Her hands skated up and down his sides, frustrated with the layers upon layers of clothes. "Why must you wear so many clothes?" she whined against his lips.
"Why must you be such a fucking tease in my car that has no room, especially when we need to be meeting up with people in-" He took in a deep breath and exhaled heavily. "Just fuck it." That said, he leaned into Autumn harder, locking his lips onto hers as he forced her into his warm body. While he continued to kiss her passionately, the one hand at her waist began exploring further down. After skimming over the hem of her dress, Graham let his fingertips tease her exposed skin.
"I like teasing you," Autumn said in between kisses. She groaned as he kissed her hard. She opened her mouth to him, running her tongue along the inside of his bottom lip. When his hands touched her skin, fire seared through her. "Oh God," she gasped. "If you keep doing that, we really won't make it in time for your gig." Her hands were busy unbuttoning more of his shirt and vest to reveal his nipples, which she promptly licked and lightly bit.
Sucking in a sharp breath of air, Graham tilted his head back to let out a delighted moan. "Same can be said to you, shit..." His hand quickly went from gently teasing to firmly groping her thigh, massaging her skin while he sat there. If only there wasn't equipment filling up the backseat, or else Graham would have already leaned the front seat back all the way. Sure, there were people walking by on the streets, probably even a few catching a glimpse of the two, but he truly did not give a shit. If Autumn was up for a show, then so was Graham. After a second of catching his breath, he slid a hand underneath her chin, lifting it up enough for him to taste her lips again, this time his tongue desperately trying to push past her lips.
Autumn went willingly, already intoxicated on his taste. She opened her mouth to him, groaning as his tongue slid against hers. Her senses were working overtime, her body thrumming with pleasure. His hand on her thigh, his tongue in her mouth, he seemed to be everywhere, but not nearly enough. She wanted more, she wanted more skin, more room, more of him. She whimpered into his mouth, "Want." As his tongue invaded her mouth, one of her hands was inside his shirt, stroking up and down his warm skin, the other buried deep into his hair. Her own hair was everywhere, almost curtaining them off from the rest of the world. She didn't care that they were in a very public parking lot... that was part of the thrill. Graham could stop things if he wanted, but she wasn't going to - not for that.
Except Graham had no intention of remotely stopping. At least not yet. Moaning hard into her mouth, he clung onto her body just as eagerly while his tongue danced across her own. Now if only he had more than two hands. And more leg room to work with. Squirming in his seat, he tried hard to shift to a more comfortable position, but found himself failing and brought Autumn in close enough to accidentally grind into her. Well, he thought it was an accident anyways. The sensation sent a chill across his body, gasping slightly into her lips before it turned into a moan. Somewhere in his head he was cursing about the fact the timing on all of this was both perfect and completely fucked up beyond all repair. The minute this was over Graham was going to have to deal with not touching Autumn like that until the headed on out again. Fuck EVERYTHING...
Autumn shivered as his tongue danced along hers. The sensation was incredible and thrilling and so hot. At the feel of him shifting under her and grinding into her, Autumn groaned into his mouth, grasping his hair tightly, using it as leverage to move up and down in his lap, grinding her body against his. She was gasping, her breaths coming fast and hard as her pleasure grew. She knew they were getting to a point where they needed to stop things or go find a bathroom to finish things. They were going to have to go out in public very soon and act like they were sex crazed teenagers. "Fuck," she breathed against his lips.
Grinning into her lips for a second, Graham took great pleasure in suddenly sucking on her lower lip while she spoke. As he slowly pulled away from her lip, his teeth dragged over the delicate flesh, biting ever-so slightly towards the end. "Don't tempt me." He whispered to her while once again trying to recompose himself. While he paused and looked up to Autumn, Graham realized that, well, they probably had to head on down to the cafe to meet up with Rigby and Fina. For all he knew him and Autumn could have been late. Then again, Graham was going to be ripshit if the other couple took their sweet ass, fucking time and decided to show up closer to nine instead of seven. Sighing heavily at the thought, Graham rested his forehead against hers, trying for some obscure reason to calm himself down.
The problem was, Autumn did want to tempt him. But there was also something wonderful about stopping now and having that painful pleasure strum through them the rest of the evening. The constant sexual tension reminding them of what was inevitable.
"We need to go don't we?" she asked, still slightly disappointed. She sat back, accidentally bumping into the car horn and having it blast loudly through the parking lot. She dissolved into giggles, leaning forward again to snuggle against Graham. She put her arms around him. "Don't wanna go." But knowing she had to, she laid there for a few more minutes, calming her breathing before kissing him hard and sliding off his lap. It was a delicate process, that, and she was sure he may have caught a glance of her underwear. Twas the problem with such a short skirt, but a problem Autumn didn't really mind having. She was half a mind to take off her panties and go commando for the rest of the night, just to drive Graham wild. She giggled at the thought, weighing the pros and cons in her mind.
Graham even let out an amused chuckle as Autumn accidentally set off the horn. "Awesome job there, Miss Southern Belle." He teased her while wrapping his arms loosely around her form. It had been such a long time since he had someone consciously snuggle back into him. He almost didn't want to let go of Autumn when she slipped away, but alas they did have plans to meet up others. Sitting up straighter, Graham went to work quickly on straightening out his attire. "Shit, you did a number on this." He grinned while eying her. Once he was back to normal, Graham slipped out from his side of the car and headed on over to the passenger door to open it for Autumn, once again holding out his hand for her. "I think you still have my hat, too."
"Oh don't complain, mister. You know you wouldn't have it any other way," Autumn teased. She didn't even bother straightening out her skirt... it would fall into place once she got out of the car. He surprised her yet again by opening the door and holding his hand out to her. She grabbed it and resisted the urge to pull him in on top of her. She used his hand to pull herself out of the car, the other hand smoothing down her dress. She reached back in behind her and grabbed his hat, plunking it down on her head.
Autumn slipped her arm around his waist, snuggling against his side. "Am I allowed to kiss you in front of these friends of yours?" She sincerely hoped so because she didn't think she could contain herself really. She wouldn't make a spectacle out of them, but she had to have a few kisses here and there to tide her over. Her body was already tingly and excited about what was to come later that night and she wanted to keep the excitement up.
"You are allowed to do whatever you please, Autumn." For some reason Graham felt like he was going to regret giving her that small amount of information, but honestly what was the worse that could happen? Rigby was happily taken so why would he care if Graham had a girl on his arm who happened to be fawning over him every second? He was enjoying the attention immensely, even more so when it had been far too long since the last time a girl acted the way Autumn did. At the very least, Graham felt like he deserved it after the shit week he had been having.
"And that suits you quite well." He motioned to the hat with his chin before closing the car door for her. "Too bad it's not brown or else it would match everything else." That said, he pulled Autumn in closer, resting his arm around her shoulder while they made their way to the cafe. This was going to be an interesting night to say the least.
Autumn laughed, "Are you sure you want to give me that much freedom?" She tickled his side a little as they walked towards the cafe. Autumn didn't mean to fawn - it was just how she was. She got wrapped up in whatever she was doing and gave it her full attention. It happened with gardening, with cooking and with men.
Autumn smiled up at him. "Do you even own anything brown? I'm sensing a red, black and white theme going on." Which was interesting to her. Her wardrobe spoke of her earthiness, she wondered if his spoke of something more than personal preference.
Sadly for her Graham wasn't remotely ticklish, but he still smiled for her while they walked. "You should always be entitled to freedom, regardless of the situation." When he replied, there was a subtle seriousness in his voice. It was what Graham lived by, so why the hell would he not expect other people be given that same luxury? "And I don't own anything outside of that, so you're going to have to deal with me the way I am." There was definitely some method to his madness, though Graham wasn't consciously aware of it. The elemental in him was always drawn to warmer colors, particularly red, and the other two colors simply complimented his look, mainly his pale white skin and jet black hair.
Autumn had freedom in that she knew herself and was comfortable in her own skin. That was freeing enough for her she supposed.
"I like you the way you are," Autumn insisted. She looked hard at him. "I really do. You're unlike anyone I've ever met and I like that." She was serious, she wasn't just telling him what she thought he wanted to hear.
"Really?" Graham was slightly unphased, seeing that he had heard similar words from different people all his life, though the way Autumn said them put a much different spin on them. It almost intrigued Graham. "Dare I ask why that is?" He could probably figure out a few reasons why she thought that way, but he wanted to hear it from her. Autumn's voice was so friendly and soft compared to his intense, blaring tone.
"Yes really silly." Then he went on to ask why she liked him. He seemed as if he didn't believe her. She found that curious becauase he seemed so confident. She steered them to come stand against the brick between storefronts. She pushed his back against the wall and pressed herself close to him, not caring who was around or who was watching. She traced his lips with her fingertip. "I like your lips and the way you crushed them against mine." She moved her hands up into his hair, having to stand on tippy toes to reach. "I love your black hair, it's sexy messy look and how you let me dig my fingers into your hair." She matched her words by curling her fingers and tugging.
Autumn's hands traveled down, ghosting over his face to his neck. She traced around his collar, touching the silkiness of his tie. "I love your sense of style and how you have the complete confidence to look unique and entirely different from anyone else." Her hands moved to his waist and grasped his hands, her fingers ghosting over his. "I like the feel of your rough fingertips against my skin." She brought her arms around his neck again and tugged him down for a quick hard kiss. "And most of all, I like that you are you, no questions asked, no holds barred. You are uncompromising and unforgiving and that is beautiful."
The southern girl had definitely taken Graham by surprise when she pulled him to the side and more or less tossed him against the wall. He stood for a moment, completely dumbfounded by what the hell was going on. And then Autumn started in, her actions teasing his senses thoroughly. God, she knew how to get under his skin so well. After the brief kiss, Graham let out a shaky sigh and stared into Autumn's eyes. There was something lingering in his own, something borderline dangerous. Autumn had only fueled his inner fire with everything she just unloaded onto him and Graham was going to take full advantage of that.
His hands grabbed her tiny waist firmly, picking her up as he spun around and slammed her back into the wall. Now that he wasn't confined in just the driver's seat of his car, Graham had far more room to work with. He pressed his body up against hers, using it to pin her securely against the structure, then leaned in closer to continue staring into her eyes. Hopefully she still thought of him as uncompromising with no holds barred after that quick stunt he pulled. Before letting her get a single word past her lips, Graham was there to lock his own onto hers, hungrily tasting her while his hands clung desperately at her body. After a moment he finally pulled away with a deep groan and looked back to Autumn. "You really, really, really make it hard as fuck to stay calm." Especially when, you know, they had to meet with others. Like soon, if not right that moment.
Despite being on a public sidewalk, Autumn wrapped her legs around his waist. Her arms clung to his neck with her fingers diving into his hair. She met him stare for stare and returned his hungry kisses with the same enthusiasm. He may have more room to move but she didn't. She couldn't very well start undressing him there in public so she had very little else to do but arch her back and grind herself into him. She dug in to the hair at the back of his head and tugged, not really taking notice of how hard she was pulling. She caressed his tongue with hers, kissing him deeply.
"Who needs calm?" Autumn muttered against his lips. She kissed him again, biting his lower lip and tugging slightly. She sucked it into her mouth, using her tongue to take the sting out of the bite.
There was something in his head that was telling him that he should have stopped right then and there and continue walking to the cafe, but everything she was doing was only enticing Graham more. His hips thrusted hard back into hers, slamming them hard into the wall while he began rolling them slowly, yet deeply into Autumn. "We need calm for just a fucking minute if we want to get through this night." He then returned the favor she had given to him, taking her lower lip into his teeth and teased it far more than he had been before. Not enough to break skin, but enough to hopefully throw her over the edge. After sweetening it with a long passionate kiss, Graham stepped back and lowered Autumn back to the ground while heaving out a massive sigh. "Now that that's out of the way, you still want your lemon water?" There was that seductive smirk on his face again. She was definitely bringing out the bad boy in him and Graham loved it.
Autumn growled low in her throat as he thrust his hips hard into hers. Her eyes rolled in the back of her head as he rolled his hips and bit at her lip. It was definitely going to be swollen by the time he got through with her, she thought.
Then he was backing away, setting her back on the ground. Her knees buckled and she staggered before catching herself against his chest. "Dear God," she gasped. Her legs were just not going to hold her up too much longer. "Must sit down," she muttered. "And yes, need water. Now. If I don't cool down, we're gonna be finding a bathroom."
Graham grabbed Autumn, supporting her as she wobbled on her legs. "Come on, it's not that far of a walk, but if you're really in that shitty of a shape I may be force to carry you." He chuckled at the thought while slipping an arm around her waist then began walking towards the direction of the cafe again. Hopefully she would make it. As they walked he couldn't help but smirk at the idea of them 'finding a bathroom' for lack of better words. If Rigby and Fina were going to be late, then Graham was all over that. Then again, Autumn probably wouldn't be able to walk after something like that.
"I could be okay with you carrying me... reprising your role as my knight in shining armor," she giggle, still somewhat breathless. "See what you do to me?!"
She managed to hang onto him as they walked to the cafe. "If your friends are late, I am so serious about finding that bathroom." He was making her so hot and she felt if she didn't some relief soon she'd just explode.
"Well, seeing that you asked for it..." Without letting Autumn have a chance to question him or even react, Graham turned to the side and bent down to scoop her up. She was so petite compared to him that it really wasn't an issue. Cradling her close to his body, he proceeded to walk along towards the cafe. "Don't want you passing the fuck out on the side of the street, then I could never take you up on that lovely offer of yours." His lips kissed her forehead rather sweetly while smiling to her. Graham truly didn't care if people were giving him strange looks for suddenly carrying her off like that. He was perfectly content with making Autumn happy, and if it meant carrying her to the cafe, then so be it.
Autumn squealed when he swooped her up in his arms. She wrapped one arm around his neck, the other pulling down her dress so she didn't flash too many people. She crossed her ankles and cemented her legs closed to make sure she wasn't going to get arrested for indecent exposure.
Then again, that would just add another element of kink to the evening.
She grinned up at him as he kissed her on the forehead. She wanted to really kiss him again, but while he was holding her, he needed to make sure to walk and not drop her. She liked being this close to him, feeling his body heat and each breath he took. She nuzzled her nose in the side of his neck, just having to touch him.
After another block of walking, they reached their destination, and with no sight of Rigby or Fina. "Go fucking figure..." Graham sighed in annoyance while shaking his head. The cafe had both indoor and outdoor seating with the outdoor portion containing simple, yet lovely chairs and tables decorated with flowers. He set Autumn down in one of the chairs, making sure she was comfortable before kneeling down beside her. "I'll go on in and grabs us something to drink. You just want your lemon water?"
Autumn pouted, not wanting him to put her down. She leaned forward and kissed him. "I want you. And water. Please." she said with a smile.
He let out an amused chuckle while standing back onto his feet. "I don't think you can buy me anywhere. I'm kind of like the fucked up thing companies toss away because it doesn't sell. Or maybe a collector's edition, your pick." That said, he traced his fingers over her cheek before heading on inside. It felt odd to be away from Autumn for such a short period of time. He had just met the girl and she was already driving him up a wall. Not to mention his heart skipped several beats on and off with how sweet she was to him. He simply couldn't stop smiling while he ordered drinks for himself and Autumn. It had been a long while since Graham was genuinely happy and he wanted it to stay that way for awhile.
It took a while for the drinks to be made - or more like just his drink, water wasn't that hard to fuck up - but once they were in hand, he headed on back out to Autumn, placing an extra large cup of water before her, filled with ice and extra lemons. "Hope that's good enough." Graham cringed once he let go of her cup, instantly rubbing his hand against the side of his leg to rid it of any extra moisture. God, he hated holding anything cold, especially when it had ice in it. Hopefully Autumn appreciated it. He took a seat opposite of Autumn, holding a cup of macchiato. The real deal, too, not the cheap knock-off shit Starbucks sold. He cupped it in his hands, savoring the first few sips despite the fact it was steaming hot.
Autumn called after him, "You're the collector's edition allllll the way baby." She giggled and got comfortable in her chair. She had to stop her eyes from tracking his movements inside the coffee shop. She wanted him back now.
That thought alone sent Autumn into mental flailing. What in the world had he done to her? She had never been this flirty and clingy with anyone. Then again, she can't remember ever having the chemistry that she and Graham have.
He came out with their drinks and interrupted her thoughts thank goodness. When he sat across from her, she scowled and got up. "Can I sit?" she asked, motioning to his lap. She just wanted to be close to him. "I promise not to get any water on you. You seem to have serious water issues," she teased. It was odd though, his aversion to water. She had never seen anything like it, really.
Graham was halfway through sipping on his drink when Autumn suggested using him as a seat instead. He perked up a brow, swallowed his drink, then set it aside. "I really don't like water. Just freaks me the fuck out." He leaned back casually into his seat, patting his lap as a way to offer it to the lovely woman. "And trust me, you will not like me anymore if you spill any on me." The intense stare in his wide eyes looked directly at her, almost piercing straight through Autumn. He was completely dead serious, too, even though it was hysterical that he was a freaking girl over the lamest thing.
Autumn held up her hands in surrender, taking a long drink of her water and placing it on the very other side of the table. She made sure to wipe her hands and mouth to get rid of any excess water. With that done, she plopped into his lap, arms wrapped around his neck. "You're so weird," she noted cheerfully. Whatever his issues were, she'd just have to be careful and it wouldn't affect her. He smelled like he showered on a regular basis so as long as he practiced general hygiene she was fine.
"Congratulations, you are the millionth person to say that." Graham teased her while bumping his nose playfully into her cheek. He did hear that a lot, but it never entirely phased him. To Graham, everything he did never came off as weird. It was all so fluid and natural to him. God forbid if he didn't perfectly fit into society's lame ass puzzle. People were always shooting him strange looks, whether it was because something he said or did. Whatever, he was perfectly content with how he was.
"See, that's what I was talking about earlier. You know it's weird, but you make no apologies. It's just a part of you and you move on. It's a great trait to have, you know," Autumn said, laying her head on his shoulder, her forehead tucked against the side of his neck. "People need to be more free with who they are and this would would be a much better place, me thinks."
Now if only people went by life like that Graham would have been ten times more pleased with life. "Couldn't agree with you more. Sadly, people like to sacrifice their freedom for security. I'd rather go to fucking hell and back just to keep my freedom intact, if you ask me." He had gone to hell and back, or at least to Cook County Prison. That was hell enough for the poor elemental. Never before in his life did he simply wished to be dead than keep living. It was the most dehumanizing experience in his life and Graham had no intentions of going back, which explained why he treasured his carefree life so deeply. "Just need to wait for these two to show up now." He sighed before taking a few more sips of his drink. "I'm going to be a bit ripshit if they take their sweet ass time getting here."
