She couldn't help but smile at Ben's invitation. She was irritated with him but she didn't mind being closer. When Autumn moved closer to Ben to make room for her she thought she should feel jealous or something but it just amused her. So she gave Autumn a nod and filled the empty space. "Ben is right, send the kids my way if they're trouble. Fortunately they're not too bad, but if a stern warning doesn't do it, that's what the walk of shame to my office is for." She laughed.
At the mention of her garden, Amelia beamed. "Thank you so much. I'm glad you like the garden. I've spent a lot of time working on it." She looked at the yard, proud of it. "It's like my baby, I guess."
