Mal just didn't have much else to do with his break time and there was usually some paper sitting around. A lot of the older ones got collected up and tossed into a recycling bin as well. He was all for protecting what resources they already had. The rain did seem to have given up for a little bit, allowing him to just collapse the umbrella and shake it out a little (away from anyone else). Cathy perked up a little at the idea. "I'll have to do that." Though her brother still looked fairly confident that even that wouldn't help in her searches for the little girl torture device. If she did find it, the game would quickly find it's way back to Ypsilanti with her.
Mal just waved back a bit before heading back down the street toward his apartment. "I like him," Cathy just declared, scooting around a bit to get a better hold before she might end up slipping and landing back on the ground.
"I think you like everyone, Cat," he just replied with a small laugh. If only adults could be as trusting of new people as children...
