Where Harper's day had sucked the same could definitely not be said about Daveigh's. Her day had been pretty fantastic if you asked her, not that she'd share details because those were between her and Gabe and there was no way she would tell anyone what they'd gotten up to for the past few hours in his hotel room. No those she wouldn't share, especially not with her sister because she was pretty sure that Harper wouldn't take too kindly to hearing how Gabe had made Daveigh's toes curl. Her sister was already making threats against him, sure they were made in jest but she really didn't want to give Harper any reason to go after him.
Her idea of spending the day with Gabe had been wise, sure enough not long after she'd gotten to his room they'd been distracted and once that had happened it had been impossible to not give into those distractions. They'd definitely worked up an appetite for dinner. They'd managed to tear themselves away from each other long enough to get ready to go out and by some miracle made it to the restaurant in plenty of time to meet Harper and Josh. Daveigh was aware of the fact that Gabe had to make a good impression on Harper, not only that but she was looking forward to meeting the guy that had her sister acting like a giddy schoolgirl.
They'd already been seated at the table and been given menus to peruse as they waited for Harper and Josh to join them. Daveigh wasn't really looking at the menu though, she was too focused on keeping her hand in Gabe's and trying to resist the temptation to run her fingers along his thigh. "Remember we have to behave ourselves," she said as she leaned in close and whispered her words into his ear, a cheeky smile on her lips as she placed a kiss against his cheek and gave his hand a squeeze, "Or Harper will kill you before we get to desert." The look in her eyes told him she wasn't on about the kind of desert you had in a restaurant at all.
