Hell, Tessa didn't see any other customers, but then again, she could be selfish like that. She couldn't really help it, it was the fire elemental in her demanding attention and wanting it now. Sometimes she knew enough to curb that aspect of her personality, and sometimes she didn't. Whatever, she had Brendan here with him now and he seemed to know his stuff. Especially seeing how that plant reacted to him. He was better than any of the employees she'd encountered, so she'd rather ask him for help than flag someone else down.
"That sucks. Seems like it would be something you'd really enjoy." And she wasn't just saying that, either. She was a firm believer that people should have the things that made them happy. Troy without his garden would just be sad, and her brother had enough of that as it was. At the potted plants comment, Tessa chuckled. "I can't even have that in my house. I never remember to water 'em," because ew, water, yes, she knew it was essential but she didn't have to like it, damn it, "and then they all dry up and look pathetic. And then they have to go into rehab at my brother's or my mom's place." She looked over the peace lilly again, reaching out for it. It didn't perk up like it had when Brendan touched it. "Troy will know what to do with it, I'm sure. Thank you for the suggestion."
