Blake's face went red from embarrassment. He was definitely not ready to talk about what he considered a very traumatic childhood. "Parker convinced my kindergarten teacher I was a girl you know. I got yelled at for trying to go to the bathroom." Blake was mortified every time he even thought about it, so he didn't really know why he had said anything at all. "At least you never bit off my ear I guess."
If Blake had empathic abilities on top of his overly sensitive nature he probably would have exploded by this point in his life. "Is it so wrong for me to want to hold her hand? I mean am I that repulsive that you'd have to run away..." His eyes were watering up again and the last thing he wanted to do was start crying once again. He had more than enough tears for today thank you. "If you haven't noticed, everything's got to do with Bunny in my life." Which would probably shed new light into Blake's redecoration of the room with tons of bunnies.
"...You called into work for me? You didn't have to do that!" But Blake would have probably only gotten upset if his brother had decided he'd rather spend his time working than saving his little brother from his own personal hell. It could have gotten worse - Bunny could have proclaimed her love for Rhys or something equally as frightening - but this was as close as he ever wanted to be to that sort of pain. "You want to hang out with me?" He smiled. "Wait...why would you - did you do that before?"
Blake laughed and nodded. "I see I see. Don't happen to have anything with Yoshi in it do you?" He asked picking up the DS and shuffling through the rest of the bag for the happy green dinosaur's face.
