The full moon had Gabriel wandering. It would be his first full moon in Scarlet Oak, which meant that perhaps his descendant would be out hunting. To the best of Gabriel's knowledge, this descendant only hunted vampires but it was very possible they monitored bitten weres on the loose as well. After all, all nasty things tended to bleed into one thing for hunters; they were all monsters and they were susceptible to the same things. As Gabriel wandered, he hadn't realized how far he'd walked until he picked up the scent of another vampire. Sure, around here, that wasn't so difficult but inquiring minds needed to know, to meet. So Gabriel wandered straight into the establishment. Ah, it was a bar. A...human bar, perhaps? Looking around, it was staffed by humans and there were a few human patrons. This was unlike Heme, especially considering the lack of angry female bouncer with death grip.
Moving his way towards the bar, Gabriel was distracted by the scent again. A younger vampire, though as Gabriel laid eyes on the man, not younger when he was turned. Gabriel had been turned when he was quite young, too young to know what life was really like, though not so young that he didn't realize he was much closer to death than life, at least for lifespans during his time period. Then music started blasting from the jukebox, which had Gabriel surprised. Not the kind of music Gabriel enjoyed, but he supposed he could see the appeal. And then the throwaway comment about being dead. Gabriel could see that he and this man had little in common, but still...Gabriel moved closer towards the bar and watched. "What is this?" Gabriel asked the dancing vampire, referring to the music.
