If asked, Farren would not be able to properly divulge just why she'd agreed to August's insane favor in the first place. Of course, the truth was that he was her big brother and she idolized him, but far be it from her to actually admit anything like that out loud. But because she could never actually say no to her brother and also because he swore this would be the only time, she promised she'd meet his 'friend of a friend' who badly needed a date for the night. He didn't describe this so-called friend, nor did he give her a name. Just a 'Meet him at the Owl's Nest and the rest will be taken care of.' So that's what she did. While she looked incredibly out of place in her jeans and the shirt her mother had picked out (because no way could Farren be trusted to choose a nice outfit to go out in herself; she just refused to wear the skirt that went with the shirt), she did not care about the sidelong glances she was getting from other patrons as she walked into the restaurant. She spoke to the host and told him that she was supposed to be meeting someone. A few exchanges were made with a passing waiter and Farren was led to a table not far away and that's when she saw Julian.
Julian.
It didn't take very long for Farren to put two and two together, and she assumed that was what August was trying to do here. But all she could think of was how Julian was too much like a brother to even consider -- not to mention the six years he had on her. And maybe later in life that wouldn't be such a big deal, but to an eighteen year old fresh out of high school? Yeah, it was like an eternity. She walked over to the table and crossed her arms over her chest. Judging by the look on Julian's face, he was just as surprised to see her as she was him. She sighed and shook her head as she looked up at him. "Hope you're cool with visiting me in jail sometime, because I'm going to murder him."
