Nodding, Max silently agreed, although he had no idea what moving across continents was like. His family had been at the same place his entire life. The pack, he figured, was really too big to move. And, besides, why would they want to when everything they had (including all the connections they'd made and all that) was here? Traveling and crossing borders was enough of a pain, though, especially with the occasional quarantine, so he sort of understood where Juliette was coming from.
"Of course," Max responded amiably, even if his feathers were just a little ruffled by the implication that an invitation from his family was not immediate. The Normandins were pretty freaking immediate. "It'd be lovely to meet your parents, I'm sure. When they get a chance after things calm down for them, of course. And it'd be nice to have a conversation over better food, I'd imagine." He looked at the empty spot in front of her and smiled sympathetically. They did have good food, after all.
