Brodie always liked to make new friends, good friends, the kind he was lucky enough to have already. And Gavin seemed to be one of those, though Brodie really wished he could just not have butterflies in his stomach every time he looked into his blue eyes. That would be great and probably improve the friendship.
"Let's never throw a party together unless it's for a funeral." He joked back, shrugging. There was no point in pretending otherwise, Brodie had given up the pretense of being a party person long ago. The way Gavin talked about his brother got Brodie wondering just how different the two were. "Okay now that sounds ominous. I just hope he doesn't break anything." He snickered.
He'd kind of be there anyway. That was nice to hear, even if Brodie was sure Gavin was only trying to sound supportive. "I'm not a huge fan of pictures of myself but I'd honestly like to see what would come out of a night like that." He'd probably not even be in them, sitting in the back behind a huge drum set like he was, focusing on everything but the world around him.
