The slate will soon be clean, I'll erase the memories
Who: Gavin and Brodie
Where: Ozzy's
When: Evening
He wasn't going to Ozzy's just to see Brodie. Except for the part where he kind of was, and hadn't admitted as much to himself yet. It didn't help that Gavin could hear Langston in the back of his mind, egging him on and telling him to get over himself already. Which was precisely why he'd yet to tell his younger brother about all of this. He knew Lang, and knew he'd be supportive, and yet... at the same time, Gavin wasn't sure he was ready to talk just yet. Maybe it was better off that Langston was out for the day, though he didn't quite know where his younger brother was. He'd never been good at dealing with anything like crushes, or flirting, or what have you. Anthony did most of the work last time, waiting until Gavin was comfortable.
At this rate, Gavin wasn't sure when he'd been comfortable. It'd been three years. One would think he'd be over it by now. But how does one get over suddenly losing a lover and a best friend, all in one fell swoop?
That's it, he wasn't thinking about this anymore. Shaking his head, he paused outside of Ozzy's for a quick cigarette. Since the weather was decent and his legs weren't bothering him, he'd walked from Kaleidoscope down to the bar. Cheaper than taking a cab for sure, and it let him clear his mind. Was Brodie even here? He wouldn't know until he stepped inside, and there was no use stalling out here. With his cigarette finished, he flicked the stub out into the street and went on in, scanning the room for any sign of the blonde.
