Lay cards with the lovers that'll hate you
Who: Odin, Cels and Orion
Where: the D'Ambray house
When: early evening, around 6:30pm
The day had not been particularly long for Orion. Sure, there had been a few patients that had actually been brave enough to come into a newly founded practice in town. And as luck would have it, both doctors had been seeing patients. It had been fun to walk into the same examination room as Odin a couple times, just for the shock value. Was it childish? Absolutely. Did Orion care? Not. One. Bit. As old as he was he knew that things would become pretty dull for him so long as he didn't find joy and humor in the little things. Like the way the one woman's eyes had lit up when not one, but two handsome doctor's were in the same room. Identical, dreamy doctors. The thought still made Orion laugh whenever he thought about throughout the rest of the day. It was a good thing that she'd been in their office in case she'd gone into cardiac arrest from too much sexy. Whatever was putting Orion into a vain sort of mood, he hoped he figured it out soon so he could channel it accordingly. It was really too bad that that other angel had a steady boyfriend. She was gorgeous. Orion busied himself with making dinner as soon as he got home from the office, and he let himself get lost in the motions of preparing some stir fry on the stove. Complete with tossing the flame seared ingredients up into the air to catch it back in the pan. Without the use of his wings, thank you very much.
"Food's up in ten," he called out for the rest of the house, in case anyone was hungry. Odin had come home the same time that he had, so he knew his twin was probably just as hungry as he was. Snacks and a small lunch had given Orion an immense appetite for dinner and it was on a plate for him as soon as it was done. He moved over to the kitchen table as he watched the steam curl up from the food on his plate. Chicken, peppers, onions and a host of other greenery hit his nose full-force as he settled down into his normal seat just to the left of the head of the table. He dug in without waiting for anyone; if they got hungry, they knew where the kitchen was. Heaven knew what Cels and Andy were up to. Likely, they were together. Probably on the internet, if he knew Cels at all. At the sound of someone coming down the stairs to the kitchen, Orion smiled an easy smile when he saw that it was Odin. "I knew you'd be the first to come down," he said with emphasis on the conjugated form of his brother's favorite word. He shot a wry wink his twin's way before he took another couple of bites of the food. It was hot and it sort of made his mouth feel like it was burning, but it was delicious nonetheless. It wasn't exactly wise to not let his food cool, but for this moment in time, Orion's hunger won out. "Had a good day?" He asked, laughing a little bit as if he didn't have any clue at all.
