Reggie's mind was still a little stuck on the fact that not only was Keelin's hand on his leg, which was really enough to keep his attention firmly in one place, but that she had moved her fingers. And then she had kept her hand right there. The only reason it even started to get off of that was because his lap was being vacated by the pug who had been helping to keep it warm. Because apparently Pugsley needed to go see Tiger and the girls right this second. Waiting a second longer would have been detrimental to his puppy health for all that Reggie knew, judging off how quickly he had wriggled himself under and out the door. Had bets been being placed then all of Reggie's money would have gone down on the fact that that pug would be inside of his apartment in less than a minute. If it even took him that long.
But Reggie really had better things to think about than whether or not Pugsley was already snuggling up to the girls or pouncing on Tiger's head. Things that were blonde, Australian and sitting right next to him.
"Now that I know what's going on I feel better, so it's okay." His weekend would have been better if he had known then, yeah, but that was not really Keelin's fault. He could have always popped over to see what was up or if she was okay instead of hiding in his apartment like he was still a teenage boy who had no idea how to fix whatever he may have done wrong. Now he was a fully-grown man who still had no idea how to fix it, but at least now he knew he had done nothing. "Nothing interesting has happened, which I'm calling good since the last time things got interesting I ended up scorching all my plants." Earth was really going to have to get over him doing that one of these days. Reggie shifted a little, his hand moving off of Keelin's shoulder only because he had slid his arm around her, immediately feeling more comfortable. "I was a little worried about you, that's why I finally came over. I just didn't want to... you know, push if I'd done something."
