I'm a greater believer in luck Who: Crowley and MacKenna Where: MacKenna's house When: Afternoon
Ever since homecoming week began looming in everyone's future it seemed to be all a lot of people could think about. For Crowley, however, it became a priority of sorts ever since he met MacKenna, the new girl in school. She had struck him like a bolt of lightning in a very weird way, and stayed with him ever since. They hadn't become close, per se, but they greeted each other in hallways, and sit together in class sometimes, and eventually Crowley found himself with a crush on her. He hadn't had a crush in a while, not one that didn't go away with the wind so to speak, and so when time came where people started inviting other people to the Homecoming Dance, there was only one person he wanted to take with him.
From what little he inferred about MacKenna she seemed like a handful, a fun, unexpected handful and yet Crowley couldn't help but want that handful. She was enticing, kept him on his toes, and that smile... While self-confidence wasn't something that Crowley really lacked in, he knew he needed a little boost if she was to say yes. So for the past week he had spent all his free time searching for the perfect luck spell, although he knew full well that in using gray magic he could only wish for good luck and hope for the best. Crowley eventually figured that with the life he'd been having lately it was more than likely that the scales would be tipped in his favor - a little bit of good news wouldn't even balance things for him. At least that's what he thought. He proceeded to write a spell to give him good luck, only a little more focused towards asking questions and getting favorable answers. That had to work.
This morning he'd cast the spell, and while he couldn't have known whether or not it had worked in his favor, in the afternoon he made his way to MacKenna's home paying no mind to the inner voice telling him he was insane and she might just laugh in his face. That was actually the worst that could happen - comparatively speaking it wasn't that bad. Without waiting for hesitation to set in Crowley rang the doorbell as soon as he stopped in front of her door, and waited. His heart was pounding but he was fairly certain he looked calm and collected on the outside. At least he hoped so.
