Who: Jack, Bunny, and Bunny's parents (Beau and Shena, NPCs)
When: Noonish
Where: Digby house
It had been five days since Bunny had convinced Jack to come home with her. As she had predicted, her parents had been more or less okay to let him stay for a while. They had a finished basement in the house, and it had been no trouble to set up the basement den as a makeshift guest bedroom. After that, her parents hadn't really said much about it. Life seemed to be going back to normal. Bunny was talking to Cole again, and that was all for the better. Now she had to find a dress. And a girl to take Jack, because the idea of him staying home that night was just depressing.
After texting back and forth with Cole for a while, Bunny grabbed her
hoodie and ran down the hall. "
Mooooooooom, can you take me
shooooppiiiiiing? I've decided not to kill Cole so I need a dress for hoooomecoooomiiiiiiiing!" It was then that she realized both her parents were sitting at the kitchen table, and she probably hadn't needed to yell all that loud enough for the entire neighborhood to hear. Her parents looked up at her, and Bunny frowned. Her mom was not getting up to get the car keys.
"Bunny, can you please go get Jack?" Shena asked, smiling faintly. "We need to all sit down and have a chat." Bunny twitched. She wasn't at all sure she liked the sound of that, but she turned and headed for the basement stairs.
"Jack?" she called, only walking down a few steps. "Are you up?"
